Aquaculture feed suppliers · Digital marketing

Join the website, the WhatsApp number and the field visit into one plan.

Digital marketing for an aquaculture feed supplier is the combined use of your website, search, social media and messaging to reach farmers, dealers and hatcheries before the next stocking. GullySales works on the order in which to build these, so each piece supports the field team.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For aquaculture feed suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Digital supports the field, it does not replace it”

A farmer buys after a visit, a neighbour's recommendation and a dealer's word. Digital work should make those easier: a page the technician can send, a number the dealer can share, a record the sales head can read.

  • “Dealers are the first digital audience”

A prospective dealer is more likely to research you online than a small farmer is. Start with the dealer page, the product pages and a clear way to apply, before spending effort on farmer-facing advertising.

  • “Paid advertising needs a narrow target”

A district, a species and a stocking month make a sensible audience. A broad national campaign for feed reaches people with no ponds. Any paid work should start small and end with a count of enquiries by district.

  • “Measurement has to come from your own records”

Clicks tell you little unless an enquiry becomes an order. Ask each new farm or dealer how they heard of you, and record it against the account.

What we do

What we deliver for aquaculture feed suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan

A one-page plan that names which channels you use for farmers, dealers and hatcheries, and who runs each.

Result: A plan the sales head can sign off.

  2. Website and product page work

Clear pages for each feed and a dealer enquiry route.

Result: Pages the field team can send in a message.

  3. Search and listing set-up

A business profile, a search presence and directory entries that match the name on your bag.

Result: Details that agree wherever they appear.

  4. Small paid test

A limited paid campaign for a chosen district and species, with a count of enquiries.

Result: A count of enquiries by district.

  5. Source tracking

A question at first contact and a field in the record for how the farm or dealer found you.

Result: A source on every new account.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

technical sheet for grower feed
A farm manager comparing brands. Answered by a downloadable sheet by species and stage, checked by your technical head.
how to choose feed for shrimp starter stage
A learner or new farmer. Answered by a plain guidance page that points to a technician and does not promise any result.
aquaculture feed brand reviews

Who it is for

This is written for these aquaculture feed suppliers.

  • Shrimp feed companies serving coastal vannamei farms
  • Freshwater fish feed companies for rohu, catla and pangasius farms
  • Starter and nursery feed suppliers for hatcheries
  • Floating and extruded feed makers
  • Feed distributors and stockists who repack or sell several brands
  • Integrated companies that sell feed along with seed and technical service
  • Specialty feed makers for ornamental fish and breeders
  • Small regional mills selling to farmers in two or three districts

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your dealer list is out of date, so listings would send enquiries to counters that no longer stock you
  • You have no one to answer an online enquiry from a farm or a dealer, so paid clicks would be wasted
  • You want one tool to run everything, before the website and phone number are even settled

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small feed company start?
With the dealer page, a business WhatsApp number and a record of enquiries. These cost little and serve the people who decide stocking. Paid advertising and video come after the record shows where enquiries come from.
Is digital marketing worth it when farmers buy through dealers?
Yes, for the dealers, hatcheries, farm managers and integrators who research. The farmer still follows the neighbour. We do not promise sales from a campaign, and we report enquiries and where they came from.
Should we spend on paid ads before the website is ready?
No. An ad sends a dealer or farm manager to a page, and if the page does not name species, stage and a contact, the click is wasted. Fix the page and the phone routing first, then test a small ad aimed at one district.
How does seasonality affect the plan?
Pond activity follows stocking cycles, which differ by species and coast. Plan content and any paid test ahead of the stocking window in your districts, not evenly across the year. Ask your technicians which months the farms prepare ponds and choose those as the busy period.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
