Astrologers · Lead generation

Birth details sent at ten at night need an answer before breakfast.

Lead generation for an astrologer is the birth details arriving with the occasion and the deadline attached, and being answered before the family meets. GullySales sets up a short intake for birth details, puts every enquiry in one place, and builds the follow-up for a family that has not booked.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For astrologers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Every enquiry carries a date you cannot move”

The families are meeting on Sunday. A reply on Monday is a consultation you did not give.

  • “The details arrive incomplete”

A photograph of a handwritten horoscope with no birth time is the usual first message, so asking well is half the work.

  • “The person messaging is rarely the person consulting”

A son or daughter writes on behalf of parents, so the reply has to be one they can forward to the elders.

What we do

What we deliver for astrologers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp intake for birth details

One short list asking date, time and place of birth for each person, the occasion, the language and the date by which an answer is needed.

Result: The details arrive complete, without three rounds of messages.

  2. One record of every enquiry and its occasion

Calls, messages, website forms and referrals written into a single list with the family, the occasion, the deadline and who replied.

Result: Nothing gets lost in a busy week of festivals.

  3. A same-day acknowledgement with the fee and timing

A short reply confirming what was received, what the consultation covers, the fee and when you can give the sitting.

Result: The family stops ringing the next name on their list.

  4. A booking routine for families abroad

A calendar link showing both time zones, an online payment option and a video call, with the details collected before the sitting.

Result: A family in another country can book without a phone call.

  5. Follow-up on families who asked and did not book

A single polite message after a few days, with a note of why they paused, recorded so the second occasion is not approached cold.

Result: An enquiry that went quiet is not simply forgotten.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

The places a family's request for a sitting reaches an astrologer, and what to record at each.

A phone call from a known family
Note the family name, who the sitting is for and the occasion, such as marriage, a naming or a house entry. Offer a day and a time, and say what to bring.
A WhatsApp message with birth details
Check that date, time and place of birth are complete for every person. Record the occasion and the language, and reply asking for any missing detail in one message.
A referral from a priest, temple or family
Write down who sent them. Thank the priest or elder, and note which occasions they usually send, such as muhurta for a wedding or a griha pravesh.
An online booking from a family in another city or abroad
Record the time zone, the language and whether they prefer a video call or a recording. Confirm the date in both time zones before the sitting.
A walk-in at the office or temple
Write down the name, the occasion and a phone number before they leave. Offer a booked sitting rather than a quick opinion at the door.
A repeat family returning for a new occasion
Link the new request to the earlier record, so the second sitting starts where the first ended. Note which occasion came back and when.

Who it is for

This is written for these astrologers.

  • Vedic astrologers and jyotishis with a family practice
  • Astrologers attached to temples or maths
  • KP astrology practitioners
  • Nadi astrology centres
  • Numerologists
  • Tarot readers
  • Palmists and face readers
  • Online astrologers consulting across cities and abroad
  • Muhurta and panchanga specialists

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You consult only on fixed days and cannot confirm a time, so a family sending birth details would wait on an answer you cannot give
  • You have no way to keep birth details private, and collecting more of them without a safe record puts families' data at risk
  • You expect enquiries to arrive from strangers alone, but your practice runs on priests and families who refer you

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we give an opinion on WhatsApp before the sitting?
No. Confirm what you have received and give a time for the consultation. A partial answer on a message is how a serious matter gets misread.
How do we ask for the birth time politely?
Explain in one line why it changes the chart, and ask for the hospital record or the family's note. Most people find it once they know why it matters.
How do we keep track of which families came through which priest?
Add one line, 'sent by', to every enquiry and fill it at the first contact. Review the list when festivals approach and write to the priests who send families. A paper register works if it is kept in the same format every time.
A family sent details and then went quiet. Should we chase?
Send one polite message asking whether they still need the sitting, mentioning the occasion date they gave. If there is no reply, note it as closed and keep the details. Repeated calls on a sensitive matter damage the family's trust.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
