Astrologers · Local SEO

A family two streets away should not have to find an app first.

Local search for an astrologer is the listing that shows your tradition, your languages and your consulting hours when a family nearby searches. GullySales completes the Business Profile, gets the hours right for a practice run from home, and writes pages for the areas your families come from.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For astrologers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The language belongs in the listing”

A family wants an astrologer who speaks to the elders in their own language, and most listings never mention it.

  • “Many practices run from home”

Consulting hours, appointment only and how to find the house matter more than a shopfront, and the listing has to say so.

  • “Temple and locality names are how families search”

People look for someone near a temple or a particular area, because that is how the aunt who recommended you described it.

What we do

What we deliver for astrologers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Business Profile with tradition and languages

The system you practise, the languages you consult in, the consultation types, appointment hours and years of practice, filled in properly rather than left blank.

Result: A family can tell in one look whether you suit them.

  2. Hours and directions set for a home practice

Real consulting hours, appointment-only stated clearly, and directions that help somebody find the house without a phone call.

Result: Visitors arrive at a time you are actually free.

  3. Pages for the areas your families come from

Short pages for the localities and temple areas you are known in, written around the families there rather than around a place name.

Result: A nearby search finds you instead of an app.

  4. Listings corrected across directories

Name, number, hours and consultation types made consistent on the profile, JustDial and any other listing, with old numbers taken down.

Result: Nobody reaches a number you stopped using.

  5. Calls from the listing counted separately

Calls and direction requests from the profile tracked apart from other enquiries, with what each one became.

Result: You can see whether the listing brings consultations.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What Google weighs here

How a family nearby finds an astrologer for a muhurta, and what to fix first.

Primary category
Choose Astrologer as the main category. Add Vastu consultant or numerologist only if you consult in that subject from the same place. A profile that lists every category reads like a directory and loses trust.
Tradition and language
Write the description in the language families speak at home, then in English. Name the tradition you follow, such as Vedic or KP, and the languages you consult in, since a family chooses on that before price.
Consulting hours
Show the hours you sit for consultations and mark festival days families rely on, such as Ugadi or Akshaya Tritiya. If you take only appointments, say so in the description, so a caller is not told the practice is closed.
Locality and temple words
Families search with a temple, a layout or a road name. Use the ones your families really come from in the description and on your pages, in the same spelling the signboards use.
Justdial and Sulekha
Claim both and match the name, hours and phone. Use the name families know you by, written the same way in English and in your own script on every listing.
Reviews without birth details
Ask families to say what they came for, such as horoscope matching or naming. Tell them not to post birth details or the other family's names, since a public review is permanent and others can read it.

Who it is for

This is written for these astrologers.

  • Vedic astrologers and jyotishis with a family practice
  • Astrologers attached to temples or maths
  • KP astrology practitioners
  • Nadi astrology centres
  • Numerologists
  • Tarot readers
  • Palmists and face readers
  • Online astrologers consulting across cities and abroad
  • Muhurta and panchanga specialists

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You consult at home and will not share the address, so a listing asking visitors to find you would only create calls you decline
  • Nearly all your families have moved abroad, and a listing for the street you sit on would reach people who cannot visit
  • You have not yet agreed the hours you consult, and a listing showing wrong hours sends a family to a closed door

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We consult from home. Should the address be public?
Show the area and keep the exact address for confirmed appointments if you prefer. A listing with no locality at all will not appear in a nearby search.
Most of our families are not in this city any more.
Then the listing serves the local half and the site serves the rest. Keep the profile accurate and put the video consultation booking where an overseas family will see it.
Should the profile name include Jyotish, Vastu and the city?
No. The name field must match your signboard, and keyword padding can get the profile suspended. Put Jyotish, Vastu and the area in the category, services and description instead. Searchers still find you, and the profile stays safe from a rival's report.
A visitor asked a prediction in the questions section. Should I answer there?
Answer only to say how to book, not with a prediction. A public answer cannot see the birth chart, and it may be read as a promise. Write a short reply giving the consultation hours and the WhatsApp number for birth details, then take the rest in private.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
