Astrologers · Social media

Explain the panchanga calmly while others are shouting about doshas.

Social media for an astrologer is where families judge whether you frighten people or explain things. Short videos in the family's language about festivals, the panchanga and what a consultation involves do the work. GullySales plans what you record, keeps claims out of it, and routes the messages into your booking routine.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For astrologers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The comments are enquiries in disguise”

Someone asking a chart question under a video is a family with a matter. That message is where the consultation starts.

  • “The elders watch, the children share”

A video in Kannada or Tamil is forwarded to a parent by a son in another country, and the booking comes from both of them.

  • “Refusing the fear format costs reach and wins families”

Warning videos travel further. The families who choose you are the ones tired of them, and they are the ones who come back.

What we do

What we deliver for astrologers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A recording plan in your own languages

A short list of subjects for each month, filmed in the languages you consult in, covering festivals, the panchanga and what each consultation involves.

Result: You publish without deciding what to say each week.

  2. Festival and panchanga posts on the right dates

Posts prepared ahead of the regional new year, the marriage months and the main festivals, so nothing is written on the morning itself.

Result: You are present on the days families think of these things.

  3. A rule for what is never said on camera

No predictions about named people, no promised results, no remedies sold from a post, agreed before recording begins.

Result: Nothing published has to be taken down later.

  4. Comment and message replies routed to the intake

A rule for who answers a chart question, and how the family and occasion are recorded before any reply is sent.

Result: An enquiry in the comments becomes a booked sitting.

  5. A note on what brought consultations

Which videos and posts produced messages and bookings, by language and occasion, kept beside the rest of the figures.

Result: You film more of what actually brings families.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platform for this buyer

Where families look for an astrologer online, and what to post in each place.

YouTube, in the language you consult in
Explain one panchanga entry, what a muhurta is or what to bring for a horoscope match, in plain words. Families watch these before they call. Ask them to book a sitting through WhatsApp.
WhatsApp status and family groups
Share the date and time of a festival, the marriage months or a name-giving auspicious window, as a short card. The action wanted is that the elder planning the ceremony forwards it.
Instagram reels for the younger family
Explain a single term, such as a nakshatra or a dasha, in under a minute in your own language. The action is to save it and send it to a parent.
Facebook, for elders and community pages
Post longer text in the regional language, with the festival date, a short explanation and your consulting hours. Elders read here and call. Ask them to ring to book.
What not to post
Predictions about a named person, a politician or a film star, fear lines about an eclipse or a transit, remedies or gemstones with promised results, or a client's chart shown without consent.

Who it is for

This is written for these astrologers.

  • Vedic astrologers and jyotishis with a family practice
  • Astrologers attached to temples or maths
  • KP astrology practitioners
  • Nadi astrology centres
  • Numerologists
  • Tarot readers
  • Palmists and face readers
  • Online astrologers consulting across cities and abroad
  • Muhurta and panchanga specialists

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You are not willing to record in your own language or appear on camera, and posts made only of stock images would look like the apps you differ from
  • You want to answer chart questions in the comments, which exposes families' details and which this page does not do
  • You cannot answer a message that arrives from a post within the day, so the post would collect enquiries that go cold

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm audience, platforms and access

We note which platforms your buyers use and check that the pages sit under your own business accounts, with you as owner and us as added roles.

  2. 2

    Review the current presence

We read the existing pages, the posts that drew replies and the gaps in posting.

  3. 3

    Build the calendar

Themes, formats and dates are set out for your approval, with space for offers and news.

  4. 4

    Create, approve and publish

Posts are made, approved by you and scheduled. Replies to the public are handled in your voice.

  5. 5

    Record enquiries and adjust

Enquiries are logged against the post or platform where they began, and the mix changes to follow what brings them.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we answer chart questions in the comments?
Answer what the term means, never what will happen to that person. A public reading of somebody's chart is unfair to them and reads badly to everyone else.
Should we post every day to keep up with the apps?
No. One considered video a week in your own language does more than daily posts. You are not competing for attention, you are being chosen.
Should I show my face, or use only images and a voice?
Showing your face helps families trust a stranger, but it is your choice. A calm voice over the day's panchanga card also works. Whichever you pick, never film a client, and keep your name and consulting languages visible in every post.
Can I go live and answer questions from viewers?
Go live on a set topic, such as the coming festival, and answer general questions. Do not read charts or give dates for individuals on air, since a personal reading in public is advice to a stranger. Ask viewers to book a sitting for their own chart.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
