B2C app startups · Website

Give the visitor one page that explains the app and sends them to the right store.

A website for a B2C app is the page that explains the app, answers a visitor's doubts and sends them to the right store link on their phone. GullySales plans the page, its words and its tracking so a visit leads to an install and a first action.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For B2C app startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Visitors are on a phone”

A visitor arrives from a Reel, a search or a forwarded link, on a mid-range phone with a patchy connection. A heavy page with an animation loses them before it loads. The page has to be light and clear on the smallest screen.

  • “The button must know the device”

An Android user needs the Play Store link and an iPhone user needs the App Store link. A page that offers both without detecting the device adds a step. A page that sends a desktop visitor to a store they cannot use loses them.

  • “The page must say what the app does in a sentence”

Visitors do not read a founder's story first. They need the task, a screen showing it and a reason to trust the app. The story and the team can sit lower down for the person who wants to check.

  • “Trust content has a place on the site”

Pages on privacy, payments safety and support contact are read by the doubtful visitor. A site missing these leaves the doubt to the store reviews. Check legal wording with your own counsel.

What we do

What we deliver for B2C app startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Page structure and copy

A one-page plan with the headline, the screens, the proof you have and the call to install, written in the user's language.

Result: A page ready to build with the words written.

  2. Device-aware store buttons

Links that send each visitor to the store that fits their phone, and a QR code or text link for desktop visitors.

Result: Each visitor lands on the right store.

  3. Speed review on a mid-range phone

A check of how the page loads on a modest Android phone and a slow connection, with a fix list for developers.

Result: A list of changes that make the page lighter.

  4. Trust and policy pages

Plain-language pages on privacy, payments and support, drafted for review by your own advisers.

Result: Pages a doubtful visitor can read.

  5. Tracking on the page

Events for store taps and form submissions, tied to the source of the visit.

Result: You can see which visits led to installs.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

The searches that should land on a light page that sends the visitor to the right store.

app to send money to family in India
A page for the task with the app's send screen shown, ending in a button that knows the visitor's phone.
what is the app name
A brand page with a one-sentence description, screens, the store buttons and the support contact. It serves people who heard of you from a friend.
is the app safe and who owns it
A trust page naming the company, the support contact and how data is handled. Have your own adviser check wording for money and health apps.
app download link for Android
A short page that opens the Play Store directly on Android and offers a text link on desktop. A QR code helps a desktop visitor install.
how do I delete my account
A support page that tells the user the steps. It is a legal and trust page, and a missing one is noticed by reviewers.
app review and complaints
A page that answers common complaints honestly with the fixes made. It reaches the doubtful visitor who searched for problems.

Who it is for

This is written for these B2C app startups.

  • Consumer finance and payments apps
  • Health, fitness and habit apps
  • Food, grocery and quick-delivery apps
  • Learning and exam-prep apps for students
  • Local services apps for plumbers, tutors, beauty or repairs

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your store listing is incomplete, and a website would send visitors to a page that does not convince them.
  • The only plan is a heavy animated site, and your users are on modest phones and weak connections.
  • You have no support contact to put on the page, and a trust page without one would reassure no one.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a full website?
A single page may be enough at first. Add pages for guides, trust and each use of the app as your needs grow.
Can the site work in regional languages?
Yes. We plan versions in the languages of your users, written by native speakers, and give each one its own address so search can find it.
Who builds the site?
We write the plan, the copy and the tracking brief. Your developers or a web partner build it, and we review the result against the plan.
What should the page do on a desktop visit?
Show a QR code and a text link to send to the phone. A desktop visitor cannot install a mobile app, so a store button alone strands them. Offer a way to send the link by message so the install happens on the device.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
