Battery storage solution providers · Lead generation

Find the plants whose evening diesel hours and peak charges are already on a spreadsheet.

Lead generation for a battery storage provider means reaching the factory, building or solar developer that has an outage log or a peak tariff problem and has not yet found a supplier it trusts. GullySales works on which buyers to approach, what each is shown first and how an enquiry is recorded.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For battery storage solution providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The best lead already owns a load log”

A plant that records evening diesel running or peak demand has done half the study. That buyer is further along than one who has only read about storage, so lists should start from sites with metering and a generator, not from every factory in a district.

  • “Home, commercial and telecom enquiries are different leads”

A shop owner asking about an inverter bank, a plant head asking about peak shaving and a tower company asking about backup are three conversations. One enquiry form for all of them sends the plant head to a salesperson who quotes home batteries.

  • “A lead who asks about fire is still a lead”

The safety question arrives early and is often read as a rejection. It is a buyer testing whether the supplier can answer calmly, so the lead record should note the question and what was sent in reply.

  • “Pilot sites hide the next six leads”

When a trial plant is pleased, its sister plants and the group head are the warmest leads you will meet. Without a note of who else the pilot owner mentioned, the introduction dies at the gate of the first site.

What we do

What we deliver for battery storage solution providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A target list built on site facts

Factories and buildings chosen by generator use, tariff structure and number of sites, with the source of each fact noted.

Result: Each name on the list carries the reason it was chosen.

  2. Enquiry routes by application

Separate entry points for peak shaving, backup, solar plus storage and home systems, each landing with the right salesperson.

Result: An enquiry reaches the person who handles that application.

  3. A lead record that keeps the objection

A field for the buyer's stated worry, whether diesel cost, fire, payback or service, beside the contact and the site.

Result: Every lead shows what it was afraid of.

  4. An introduction note for group buyers

A short written note a pilot owner can forward to sister plants, describing what was measured and who to call.

Result: The pilot owner has something to forward.

  5. A review of lead sources

A written comparison of where studies were requested, set against where only brochure downloads came from.

Result: You can see which source asked for a site study.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture

The facts about a plant or site that tell you whether a storage enquiry is worth a study.

Application the buyer has in mind
Peak shaving, solar shifting, diesel replacement or backup. The answer decides who on your team replies and which pipeline the lead enters.
Connected load and the hours that hurt
The sanctioned load and the hours of diesel running or peak charge. A buyer who can name them already has a load log.
Utility, tariff slab and any solar already on site
It decides if the sum can work. A site on a flat tariff has a different case from one with a time-of-day charge.
Who raised the enquiry and who will decide
The plant head, the finance head or an installer. The note stops the reply going to the wrong person.
Whether the fire question has been raised
Record the concern in the buyer's words. It tells the engineer to send the safety file before the first call.
Site location and access
The city and whether the system goes indoors, on a roof or in a yard. It decides if your service team can cover the site.

Who it is for

This is written for these battery storage solution providers.

  • Commercial and industrial peak shaving suppliers
  • Solar plus storage integrators
  • Home and shop battery system sellers
  • Telecom and data room backup suppliers
  • Battery pack assemblers and system builders
  • Diesel replacement system providers
  • Microgrid and remote site developers
  • Battery energy service companies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your engineers cannot run a load study this quarter, and enquiries would wait with no answer.
  • You sell only one system size and the leads you attract need another.
  • Your safety file is not written, and every enquiry will raise fire in the first call.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we buy leads from a directory?
Judge any directory by studies requested, not by names received. A list of phone numbers for people who never measured their load costs your engineers time. Test a small source first and record what each produces.
Do home battery leads and factory leads belong in one pipeline?
Keep them in separate stages and with separate owners. The questions, the visit and the paperwork differ, and mixing them hides which part of the business is moving.
Can you promise a number of leads?
No. Leads depend on buyers, tariffs and your response. GullySales works on targeting, routes and records so that the leads you do receive are handled properly.
Can a lead from an installer be treated like a direct lead?
Keep it in its own pipeline. An installer resells the system and carries the customer relationship, so the questions are about margin, support and training. A direct buyer asks about the sum and the site. Mixing the two blurs both.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
