Battery storage solution providers · Digital marketing

Spend where a plant head searches and leave out where a household scrolls.

Digital marketing for a battery storage provider is the combined use of search, content, email, social platforms and paid advertising to bring the right buyers to a study conversation. GullySales works on which channels fit each application and how the results are read.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For battery storage solution providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Channels differ by application”

Home and shop systems can be reached by search advertising and installer referrals. Commercial peak shaving is reached by introductions, technical content and targeted outreach, so a shared budget spread across all of them serves none.

  • “Clicks are the wrong measure for a long sale”

A factory study takes many conversations, and the first click is far from the signed order. The measure that matters is a requested study or a site visit, recorded against the channel that produced it.

  • “Email still reaches the finance head”

Engineers read posts, but finance heads and owners respond to a clear note in their inbox with the sum attached. Email lists built from enquiries and meetings are more useful here than lists bought from outside.

  • “The website is where every channel ends”

An advertisement or a post that lands on a general homepage loses the visitor. Each campaign should send people to the page for their application, with one clear next step.

What we do

What we deliver for battery storage solution providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan by application

A document that sets out which channels serve peak shaving, backup, solar plus storage and household systems, with reasons.

Result: Each application has a stated channel and a stated reason.

  2. Landing pages for each campaign

Pages that match the advertisement or message, showing the problem, the evidence and one action such as a request for a study.

Result: Each campaign points to a matching page.

  3. An email series for studies in progress

A short set of notes sent to buyers who have asked for a study, explaining what data is needed and what happens next.

Result: Buyers waiting on a study receive written guidance.

  4. Measurement tied to studies

Tracking that records which channel a study request came from, entered into the CRM beside the contact.

Result: Study requests are traced to a source.

  5. A spend review

A written comparison of spend against studies requested and orders, so the budget moves to where buyers act.

Result: Spend is read against studies and orders.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

The searches and placements that reach a plant head, and the ones that reach a household.

peak demand charge reduction
Search advertising to a page on the application, with a load study request. Judge it by studies requested, not clicks.
diesel generator replacement for industry
A landing page for the plant that runs diesel for hours each day. It asks for the hours and the load.
solar battery for home
A separate page for household buyers, sending them to an installer near them. Keep it apart from the plant pages.
LinkedIn audience of plant heads
Targeting by role in manufacturing, with a safety or payback note offered. It reaches the buyer who does not search.
email to a finance head
A direct note with a payback worksheet attached. Email still reaches the person who signs.
retargeting a visitor to the safety page
A follow-up note for those who read the fire page, offering the safety file. It continues a worry already raised.

Who it is for

This is written for these battery storage solution providers.

  • Commercial and industrial peak shaving suppliers
  • Solar plus storage integrators
  • Home and shop battery system sellers
  • Telecom and data room backup suppliers
  • Battery pack assemblers and system builders
  • Diesel replacement system providers
  • Microgrid and remote site developers
  • Battery energy service companies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no study request form or process, and traffic would go nowhere.
  • The same budget would cover home and plant buyers together, and the two audiences would blur.
  • The website is not ready, since every channel ends there.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

What budget do we need?
It depends on the application and your sales capacity. GullySales will not set a number without seeing your enquiry records, and recommends starting small and judging by studies requested.
Should we do everything at once?
No. Start with the application where you have the best proof and the clearest buyer, then add channels as that one is working.
How do we measure a long sale?
Count studies requested, sites visited and quotations sent, then follow each deal to a decision in your CRM. Clicks and form fills say little when a sale runs through a study. Judge channels by the deals they feed, over the period your sales cycle takes.
Should home and plant campaigns share a budget?
Keep them separate. A household buyer and a plant head search differently, ask different questions and need different pages. A shared budget lets the cheaper clicks win, which are the household ones, so set each its own budget and measure by its own pipeline.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
