Battery storage solution providers · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for the photographs of the panel, the load log and the quick yes.

WhatsApp marketing for a battery storage provider is the use of WhatsApp Business to take enquiries, receive site photographs and send documents to installers, plant staff and households. GullySales works on how the number is set up, what is sent and who replies.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For battery storage solution providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The plant engineer sends a photograph, not an email”

To explain the switchboard and the space available, an engineer sends a picture on WhatsApp. A supplier who can read it and reply the same day is in the conversation, while one who asks for an email loses the thread.

  • “Installers resell on trust and quick answers”

An electrician at a customer's door will message the brand that replies. Product notes, wiring diagrams and the warranty route held in a catalogue on WhatsApp keep your system on that installer's next job.

  • “Documents on WhatsApp must be the current ones”

A sizing note or datasheet forwarded from an old chat may show a retired model. A single shared folder for approved documents, and a rule to send only from there, avoids the wrong spec reaching a buyer.

  • “Broadcasts to the wrong list damage the number”

Sending a home inverter offer to a plant head is noise, and repeated noise leads to blocks. Lists by application and a record of consent keep the number usable. Check the platform's current rules for business messaging.

What we do

What we deliver for battery storage solution providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile and catalogue

A set-up with company details, application categories and the products or services you offer, written in plain terms.

Result: The profile tells a stranger what you do and for whom.

  2. Quick replies for common questions

Saved answers on service coverage, certification, sizing data and how to book a site visit, edited by your engineers.

Result: Common questions have an approved answer.

  3. An approved document folder

A single place for the current datasheets, sizing note and safety file, with a rule that only these are sent.

Result: Salespeople send from one folder.

  4. Lists by application with consent noted

Separate contact lists for peak shaving, backup, solar plus storage and installers, with how each person agreed to messages.

Result: Each list shows its basis for contact.

  5. A handover rule to the sales team

A defined point at which a chat moves from the front desk to an engineer or salesperson, with the case notes copied across.

Result: Chats move to a named person with context.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to send

The messages and documents that move a storage enquiry on WhatsApp.

Photograph of the panel and meter
The engineer sends it so the sales engineer can see the incoming supply. Ask for it in the first reply.
Load log or bill sent as a file
A buyer shares the data used for the study. Confirm receipt and say which hours you will look at.
Current datasheet and safety summary
Send only the latest version, with the revision date. An old document sent by mistake costs trust.
Yes or no on site access
A one-line confirmation of the visit date and who will meet the team. It keeps a busy plant engineer in the loop.
Installer partner group update
A note on a new product or a change in price to partners who joined the group. Keep it for trade news.
Service call acknowledgement
A reply that logs the complaint and names the engineer assigned. It answers the vague service promise buyers fear.

Who it is for

This is written for these battery storage solution providers.

  • Commercial and industrial peak shaving suppliers
  • Solar plus storage integrators
  • Home and shop battery system sellers
  • Telecom and data room backup suppliers
  • Battery pack assemblers and system builders
  • Diesel replacement system providers
  • Microgrid and remote site developers
  • Battery energy service companies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Documents are stored in many versions, and no one knows which is current.
  • The business number is a salesperson's phone that leaves with them.
  • You plan to broadcast to an old purchased list, and the number would be blocked.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we run broadcast campaigns?
Only to people who have agreed to hear from you, and with attention to the platform's current rules. For commercial buyers, one-to-one messages carry more weight than broadcasts.
Should the WhatsApp number be personal or business?
Use a business account on a number the company owns. When a salesperson leaves, the conversations and the number stay with you.
What if a buyer sends a document we should not open?
Do not open an unexpected file from an unknown number. Ask them to send it from the company email or confirm by phone. Industrial sites do receive scam messages, so check the sender before downloading anything that carries a plant's data.
Can we send quotations on WhatsApp?
Send the quotation as a file with a revision date, and keep the formal copy by email. A chat is useful for a glance, but a quotation needs a record that both sides hold. Note in the CRM that it was sent.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
