Cattle farms · WhatsApp marketing

Make the chat you already use for cattle sales into a record of buyers.

WhatsApp marketing for a cattle farm is the structured use of broadcasts, catalogues and replies to reach dairy farmers who already trade on chat. GullySales works on the business profile, the message wording and the route from a chat to the enquiry sheet.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For cattle farms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Cattle trade already runs on WhatsApp”

Photos, videos, prices and locations move through chats and village groups every day. The farm does not need to start a new habit. It needs the chats organised so that each buyer is recorded and each animal has its details in one place.

  • “A forwarded photo loses its context”

When a picture of a heifer is forwarded across groups, the price, the age and the location drop away. A short message with the same fixed details every time, and the farm's number, keeps the farm's name attached to the animal.

  • “Broadcast to people who agreed”

Sending animal lists to anyone whose number you hold annoys buyers and can lead the platform to restrict the number. Ask buyers whether they want updates, record the answer and message only those who said yes.

What we do

What we deliver for cattle farms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile for the farm

Business name, address, hours, a short description and a catalogue of animals available.

Result: A new buyer sees the farm's details before they type.

  2. A message template for each animal

A fixed format: breed, age, calvings, yield as recorded, location and how to arrange a visit.

Result: Every animal is described in the same clear way.

  3. A buyer list with permission noted

A list of buyers who agreed to hear about new animals, tagged by breed interest.

Result: Messages go to people who asked for them.

  4. Quick replies for common questions

Saved replies for price range, visit timing, records and transport.

Result: Staff answer in a consistent way and the owner is not needed for each message.

  5. A route from chat to register

A habit and a form so that each new chat becomes a line in the enquiry sheet.

Result: No buyer exists only in someone's phone.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

The messages a cattle farm sends on WhatsApp and the permission each rests on.

Permission to send animal updates
Ask the buyer whether they want to hear about new animals, and note the answer. A list built on asking is smaller and gets more replies.
One message per animal
Tag, breed, age, calving record and a video of the animal standing and walking. Everything the buyer needs sits in one message that travels well when forwarded.
Reply to the first price question
State the price range and ask the buyer's village and herd size. It sorts serious buyers from curiosity and begins the register entry.
Voice note in the local language
A short spoken reply for a buyer who does not type, with a written line beneath for the register.
Visit invitation with directions
Send the route, the landmark and the hours, and ask the buyer to confirm. It cuts wasted trips to a farm hard to find.

Who it is for

This is written for these cattle farms.

  • Holstein Friesian and Jersey cross farms
  • Gir, Sahiwal and other desi cattle breeders
  • Murrah and other buffalo breeders
  • Heifer rearing farms
  • Farms supplying new dairy start-ups
  • Bull farms and semen suppliers
  • Farms selling to gaushalas
  • Farms selling calves and breeding stock

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You collected numbers from the cattle market and have no permission to message them, so a list would begin without consent
  • The farm has one phone and the owner is in the shed all day, so replies would arrive long after the buyer lost interest

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we use broadcast lists for all buyers?
Only for those who agreed to receive them. Check the platform's current rules before sending bulk messages, and keep an opt-out so that anyone can stop.
Should we send voice notes?
Voice notes suit buyers who prefer speaking to reading. Keep them short and add a typed summary of the animal and price so that the details are not lost.
Can WhatsApp replace the website?
No. Chats are private and hard to find through search. Use WhatsApp for conversation and the website for records, videos and discovery by new buyers.
How do we stop photos being reused by brokers?
You cannot stop it, but you can mark each image with the farm name and the tag number. A forwarded photograph without context sells the animal for someone else. Put the farm's contact on the video itself, so the enquiry returns to you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
