Event ticketing companies · Local SEO

Be the page a city's ticket buyers find when they search for tonight or this weekend.

Local SEO for a ticketing company means appearing for searches tied to a city, an area or a venue, such as shows near me or events at a named auditorium. GullySales works on the city pages, venue pages and business profile that connect your listings to place.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For event ticketing companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Attendees think in neighbourhoods”

A buyer in Indiranagar wants something close, not a list for the whole state. Listings grouped by area and venue match that thinking, while a national list asks the buyer to filter for themselves.

  • “Venue names are searches in themselves”

People search for an auditorium or club by name, then look for what is on. A venue page that lists upcoming events and the way in, with a ticket link, collects that search before another site does.

  • “The business profile serves organisers too”

An organiser in your city looks up ticketing near them and judges by the profile. Address, service description, photos of a gate scan and the reviews they can read decide whether they call.

  • “A new city needs a seeded page”

Launching in a new city with an empty page gives a buyer nothing to click. Local pages work once there are live events, so organiser outreach in that city has to come before the page is promoted.

What we do

What we deliver for event ticketing companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. City page set

A page for every city you operate in, with live events by day and type, and a short note on how tickets reach the buyer.

Result: Each city has a page that lists only events on sale there.

  2. Venue and area pages

Pages for the main venues and the areas people name, each with upcoming events, address and entry information.

Result: A buyer searching a venue name reaches a page about that venue.

  3. Business profile clean-up

A review of the Google business profile: name, address, description, categories used and photos.

Result: The profile shows the same details as the website.

  4. Local organiser outreach plan

A list of clubs, colleges and venues in each city, with the person to approach and the sample listing to send.

Result: Each city has a named list of venues and clubs to talk to.

  5. Local citation check

A check that your name, address and description match across the directories organisers consult.

Result: You hold a sheet of where your business is listed and whether the details agree.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

The local searches a ticket buyer or a venue manager types, and what answers them.

Who it is for

This is written for these event ticketing companies.

  • Concert and music festival ticketing platforms
  • Comedy, theatre and live performance ticketing
  • College fest and campus event ticketing
  • Sports league and marathon registration platforms
  • Workshop, seminar and conference registration ticketing
  • Exhibition and trade show entry ticketing
  • Religious and cultural event pass providers
  • White-label ticketing providers for venues and clubs

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no events listed in the city yet, so a local page would promise shows that do not exist.
  • You run purely online and have no premises, so a public address on a profile would misstate where you work.
  • You have not agreed any venue partnerships, so venue pages would imply an arrangement you do not have.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a Google business profile if we are online only?
If organisers meet your team or visit an office, a profile helps them verify you. If you have no premises, check the platform's current rules on what may be listed, and do not publish an address that is not yours.
How do we handle cities where we have few events?
Do not publish a page that lists nothing. Start organiser outreach there, list the first events and open the city page once there is something for a buyer to choose.
Can we name a venue on our pages without an agreement?
Name it only to say that a show is held there. Writing that you are the venue's official box office, or using its logo, needs the venue's consent. A factual line giving the event and the address is enough for the buyer.
How do we keep area pages correct when shows get cancelled?
Link each listing to the event record, so a cancelled show disappears from the area page the moment the record changes. A page that still lists a cancelled show sends buyers to a venue with no event and costs trust.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
