Farm automation companies · WhatsApp marketing

Send the clip, the price and the visit date where the farmer already reads.

WhatsApp marketing for a farm automation company means using the app growers and dealers already open each day for enquiries, demonstration invitations and support. GullySales works on the message set, the opt-in and the routine that keeps customer conversations on a record.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For farm automation companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The farmer messages before phoning”

A grower who sees a clip sends a message asking the price or whether it suits a particular motor. A slow or silent reply reads as a company that will also be slow when the unit fails.

  • “A clip travels further than a brochure”

A short video of a unit working can be forwarded to a brother, a neighbour or a dealer in a second. A brochure sent as a file is hard to open on a phone, and its text is too small for a phone.

  • “Support lands on personal phones”

When fault messages arrive on a technician's own number, nobody else sees them. A shared business number and a logged thread make the history available to whoever is on duty.

What we do

What we deliver for farm automation companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile and catalogue

A set-up with product names, clips, location and a short description in the district language.

Result: A farmer opening your profile sees what you sell and where you work.

  2. Message templates

Ready wording for first reply, price, demo invitation, installation date and first-week check.

Result: Every common question has a prepared reply that sounds like a person.

  3. An opt-in routine

A method for asking farmers and dealers if they want updates, and recording the answer.

Result: Each contact on your list has a recorded yes.

  4. A shared inbox routine

Rules for who answers, when messages are handed on and how a thread is saved to the record.

Result: A customer thread can be found by name or unit.

  5. Demo-day invitation set

A message and a clip for inviting nearby farmers to see a unit, with a reply that confirms attendance.

Result: The list of confirmed visitors is ready before the day.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

What to capture and send on WhatsApp for a farm automation company.

Opt-in at the demonstration
Ask the farmer on the plot whether they want messages here, and note the number. Do not add anyone to a list without being asked.
Clip of the unit working
A short video in the local language with the model name and the dealer's contact. Farmers forward it to their village group.
Quote and visit date
A plain message with the unit, what is included and the day the technician will come. The farmer can show it to the family.
Fault report
A message template asking for the village, the unit number and a photo of the display. It saves a call and gets the right technician moving.
Dealer information sheet
A one-page sheet for the dealer's own phone: what the unit does and where to refer faults. It removes guesswork at the counter.

Who it is for

This is written for these farm automation companies.

  • Mobile pump starter and motor controller makers
  • Drip and sprinkler automation and valve controller suppliers
  • Soil moisture and weather sensor companies
  • Polyhouse and greenhouse climate control providers
  • Fertigation automation suppliers
  • Livestock, dairy and poultry shed automation suppliers
  • Solar pump controller and monitoring suppliers
  • Integrators who install and support automation for estates and large farms

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Support calls still land on technicians' personal phones, so a business number should be set up and shared first.
  • You have not agreed what to do when a farmer sends a fault photo at night, and a message left unread is worse than no channel.
  • You plan to broadcast offers to every number you hold. Check the platform's current rules and message only those who asked.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send offers to everyone?
Send only to people who agreed to hear from you, and check the platform's current rules before any broadcast. Messages that were not asked for turn a customer away.
Should support be on WhatsApp?
It suits farmers because it is the app they use. Keep every support thread on a shared number and in the support log so no fault is known to one technician alone.
Do we need a separate number for support?
Use one business number and a shared inbox so any technician can reply, with a rule on who answers which fault. Farmers message the number on the unit's sticker, so a personal phone that is switched off leaves a fault waiting. Name the people who watch the inbox.
Can WhatsApp be used where signal is weak?
Mostly for text and small pictures, so keep clips short and compress them. A farmer with a weak signal will not download a heavy video. Send a link to the full clip on a separate page and keep the quote as plain text.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
