Fertilizer dealers · Digital marketing

Join up the listing, the phone and the register so each supports the other.

Digital marketing for a fertiliser dealer is the combined work of the Google listing, WhatsApp, a simple page and the farmer register, all pointing farmers to the shop. GullySales works on deciding which of these deserve effort first and linking them to the counter.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For fertilizer dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The shop does not need every channel”

A village dealer who tries the listing, social media, a website and ads at once ends with none done well. The listing and WhatsApp reach the farmer first, and the rest follows when those work.

  • “Online selling is a different game”

Apps sell the bag with a delivery promise. A dealer who tries to copy them loses on price, whereas advice, credit and nearby stock are things the app cannot offer on the day.

  • “Digital work with no link to the counter is lost”

A call that comes in and is not noted, or a message left unanswered, wastes the effort. Every channel must lead to a person who answers and a register that records.

  • “Paid ads suit some shops and not others”

A dealer with a wide area and a good range might use a small paid push around sowing. A single-village shop is better served by the listing and the register. The decision should follow your own farmers.

What we do

What we deliver for fertilizer dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan of which channels to start with

A short written plan ranking the listing, WhatsApp, a page and ads for your shop.

Result: You know what to do first and what to leave.

  2. A listing and WhatsApp set-up

A complete profile and a business number that both point to the counter.

Result: A farmer can find you and message you.

  3. A one-page website

A page with the shop, products, location and a call button.

Result: The page loads on a phone and shows your details.

  4. An enquiry log

A sheet noting where each call or message came from.

Result: You can see which channel brings farmers.

  5. A review of results

A look at the log and the register to decide what to continue.

Result: You decide with your own numbers.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

fertiliser shop near me
Answered by the map listing alone, so it is the first thing set right before any other digital work.
seed availability today
Answered by a message or a call, so the shop keeps a short stock note that staff update when bags arrive.
soil testing near me
Answered by a listing post and a notice on the chat, giving the day and place of collection.
organic inputs dealer
Answered by a page and a post naming the products, aimed at the grower moving to organic, with an invitation to ask at the counter.
farmer helpline for fertiliser
A search for advice, answered with the shop's phone number and a note on who can answer, so the call reaches a person.

Who it is for

This is written for these fertilizer dealers.

  • Fertiliser and seed retail shops in mandi towns
  • Village-level input dealers
  • Cooperative society and PACS outlets
  • Large multi-product agri input stores
  • Organic and bio-input stores
  • Dealers who also sell pesticides and farm tools
  • Wholesale fertiliser stockists supplying village dealers
  • Dealers attached to FPOs and farmer groups

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The shop has no stock record, so a visible channel would promise products that are not there.
  • You hope to sell online across the country, which is a separate business from a village shop.
  • You cannot tie a call or a visit to its source, so spend could not be judged.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need paid ads?
Not at the start. Fix the listing, WhatsApp and register first. Ads can be added around sowing if the shop has stock and a way to handle the calls.
Can we sell online ourselves?
Some dealers do, but rules on selling inputs online differ by state and product. Check with your own adviser before you start.
How do we know it works?
Count enquiries by source and new names in the register. The shop's own records are the test, not a promise from us.
Should a village dealer run paid ads?
Not before the listing, the phone and the farmer list are in order. Paid reach sends strangers to a shop that may not answer, whereas the farmers within a few villages already find a shop through the map and a neighbour.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
