Fitness franchise brands · WhatsApp marketing

Members book, reschedule and renew on WhatsApp, so the studio has to answer there.

WhatsApp marketing for a fitness franchise brand is the use of WhatsApp to take trial bookings, remind members and reply to franchise candidates. GullySales works on the business number, the message templates and the rules on who may be messaged.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For fitness franchise brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry arrives as a message”

A person who sees a studio on Google often taps the WhatsApp button instead of calling. If the reply comes late, they have already messaged the next gym.

  • “One personal phone runs the outlet”

A trainer's own number carries every member chat and leaves with the trainer. A business number with shared access keeps the history with the studio.

  • “Broadcasts annoy the wrong people”

Sending an offer to every contact, including members who joined last week and candidates who asked about a franchise, loses goodwill. Lists by purpose and consent keep messages welcome.

  • “Franchise candidates want documents”

A candidate asks for the format brochure and the equipment list. Sending a clear document and a short note on WhatsApp suits the way they already work.

What we do

What we deliver for fitness franchise brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business setup per outlet

A business profile with hours, address, catalogue of batches and a greeting message.

Result: Each outlet has a business number members recognise.

  2. Approved message templates

Booking confirmation, trial reminder, missed-visit nudge and renewal reminder, written in the studio's voice.

Result: Templates are ready for the desk to use.

  3. A consent and list rule

Who may be messaged, how permission is recorded and how a person opts out.

Result: Every list carries a record of permission.

  4. A candidate document set

A short pack for franchise candidates, sent with a note, covering format, space and support.

Result: Candidates receive the same pack from every sales person.

  5. Shared access for the desk

Access so more than one person can answer, with notes on who replied last.

Result: No chat depends on one phone.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to send

Use WhatsApp for the moments members already message about.

Trial booking confirmation
Sent by the outlet with the batch, the address pin and the name of the trainer who will meet the visitor.
Timetable change
A message to members of that batch when a class moves, so nobody arrives to a locked studio.
Renewal reminder
Sent to the member who opted in, with the plan options and the desk's reply line for questions.
Franchise information pack
Sent to a candidate who asked for it, with the space checklist and the next conversation, never as a mass forward.
Festival closure notice
A single message to opted-in members about holiday timings, which keeps the desk free of repeat calls.

Who it is for

This is written for these fitness franchise brands.

  • Gym franchise brands for neighbourhood fitness centres
  • Yoga and meditation studio franchises
  • Dance fitness and Zumba studio brands
  • CrossFit and functional training box brands
  • Women-only fitness studio franchises
  • Pilates and boutique studio brands
  • Martial arts and kids' fitness franchises
  • Brands selling fitness studios inside apartment complexes

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your member numbers were collected without asking permission to message them on WhatsApp.
  • The outlet runs on one personal phone with no shared access, so a business setup would stall at the first absence.
  • You want to send offers to every number you hold, which risks blocks and complaints.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we message all members about an offer?
Only those who have agreed to receive messages, and check the platform's current rules. Keep offers to the approved list and give an easy way to stop.
Do we need the official business tools?
For more than a few chats, yes. They keep templates, hours and shared access in order. Ask us which suits your volume.
Can we add members to a WhatsApp group?
Add a person to a group only after they agree. A member placed in a group without asking may leave and report it, and large groups slow down the individual replies that members value. Keep batch groups small and run by the trainer.
Will WhatsApp replace the outlet's phone line?
No. Some members still call, so keep the line open, and use WhatsApp for confirmations and quick questions. The desk should check one shared inbox so that a message sent late in the evening is not missed.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
