Franchise development companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the firm that appears when an investor searches for a franchise to buy.

SEO for a franchise development firm is the work of making brand pages, investor guides and the firm's own mandate page findable for the searches both buyers use. GullySales plans which pages should exist and what each should say, without promising rankings.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For franchise development companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Investors search by sector and budget, not by firm”

A person with savings looks for a franchise in a particular sector, in their own budget band. Pages organised by sector and investment range meet that search. A page that only says the firm is experienced does not.

  • “Brand owners search for the process, not the firm”

A founder asks how to start franchising, what a franchise fee covers or whether the brand is ready. Guides that answer these questions honestly are how a firm gets noticed before the founder has a shortlist.

  • “A brand page copied from the brand's own site competes with it”

If the firm pastes the brand's description, two pages say the same thing and neither gains. The firm's page should add what the brand's site omits, such as who suits the unit and what the investor will be asked to do.

  • “Old brand pages mislead after a mandate ends”

A page for a brand the firm no longer represents still draws enquiries. Each page needs an owner who retires or redirects it when the mandate closes.

What we do

What we deliver for franchise development companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Sector pages for investors

One page for each sector the firm sells in, listing the brands with approved details and the questions a buyer should ask before choosing.

Result: A search for a franchise in that sector can land on a useful page.

  2. Founder guides on starting to franchise

Plain guides on readiness, support obligations and how a development firm is paid, written from the firm's practice and checked by its lawyer.

Result: A founder has something to read that does not require a sales call.

  3. Brand page standards

A fixed structure for every brand page covering investment range, space needed, support and the next step, filled only with facts the brand confirms.

Result: Every brand page can be audited against the same list.

  4. Retirement rules for closed mandates

A short routine that marks a page for redirect or removal when a mandate ends.

Result: No page offers a brand the firm can no longer place.

  5. Search tracking by page type

A simple view of which sector pages, guides and brand pages are drawing visits and enquiries.

Result: The owner sees which page types earn their place on the site.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these franchise development companies.

  • Firms that sell franchises for food and beverage brands
  • Franchise development firms for retail and fashion brands
  • Education and training franchise placement agencies
  • Health, wellness and salon franchise recruiters
  • Franchise recruiters working with home service brands
  • Master and area franchise placement firms
  • Franchise portals that also run a placement desk
  • Independent franchise recruiters working with a few brands

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your mandates are few and keep changing, so pages written now would list brands that may be withdrawn
  • You have no process page or proof for brand owners, and a search visitor would see a list of brands and nothing about the firm
  • The site cannot be edited when a brand withdraws, and a page for a closed mandate would stay live

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can SEO bring brand owners as well as investors?
Yes, through guides written for founders. They are separate pages from the investor pages, with their own enquiry form, so the two audiences do not meet each other's content.
Can we promise a brand a ranking?
No. Rankings depend on the search engine and on competing pages, and nobody controls them. Tell the brand what pages will be built and what will be tracked.
What limits SEO for a franchise placement firm?
The brands on your mandate. A page can only describe what you are allowed to offer, and a withdrawn mandate means the page must go. Build pages on the buyer's need, such as sector or budget, so they survive when a single brand leaves.
Should a brand page repeat the brand's own text?
No. Copy from the brand's site competes with it and adds nothing. Write what your firm knows, such as who it suits, what investors ask and what the brand's support involves, and send readers to the enquiry route.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
