Franchise development companies · WhatsApp marketing

Answer investor questions on the app they already use, and keep brand details in order.

WhatsApp marketing for a franchise development firm is the use of the app to take investor enquiries, send brand details and keep conversations going until a decision. GullySales plans the numbers, the saved replies and the consent rules, and asks you to check the platform's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For franchise development companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Investors ask for the investment figure first”

First messages ask what it costs to join. A saved reply that gives the brand-approved figure, asks for city and budget, and offers a call keeps the conversation moving.

  • “Brand brochures forwarded from chat to chat get stale”

A brochure passed between phones carries old figures and no version date. The firm should send only the current approved document from one place.

  • “Personal numbers mix up brands”

When each team member uses a personal number for a different brand, a candidate gets messages from several people and the firm loses the history. A business number with named owners keeps the thread.

  • “Broadcasting to a list without consent loses trust”

Adding people to a group or list because they once enquired irritates them and can get the number blocked. Send to people who agreed to hear about new brands, and let them leave easily.

What we do

What we deliver for franchise development companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business WhatsApp setup

A business account with a profile, a short description and saved replies for the common first questions.

Result: A candidate message gets a prompt, consistent first reply from a named person.

  2. Brand detail messages

A set of approved messages and documents for each brand, with the date each was confirmed.

Result: The team sends the current version only.

  3. Qualifying questions in chat

A short list of questions on city, budget and property asked in the conversation.

Result: The team can sort serious candidates from browsers in the chat.

  4. Consent and opt-out routine

A record of what each person agreed to receive and a simple way to stop messages.

Result: Nobody is messaged for something they did not ask for.

  5. Chat-to-CRM handoff

A step that moves each conversation's key facts into the candidate's record.

Result: The history is not lost if a team member leaves.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

The WhatsApp messages a placement firm sends and what each carries.

Investment question reply
A saved reply that gives the figure as the brand states it and what it covers. Record which brand and which figure was sent.
Brand pack with a covering note
A PDF with a message saying what to read first. Record the date and the version of the pack.
Meeting confirmation
The place, time and person to meet at the brand or at a unit. Record who confirmed.
Open mandate announcement
A message to candidates who agreed to hear about new brands in their sector. Record the sector and the consent.
Unit visit reminder
A note with the address of an open unit and a contact. Record the visit afterwards.
Brand withdrawn notice
A message telling a candidate a brand is no longer open and offering another. Record the candidate's reply.

Who it is for

This is written for these franchise development companies.

  • Firms that sell franchises for food and beverage brands
  • Franchise development firms for retail and fashion brands
  • Education and training franchise placement agencies
  • Health, wellness and salon franchise recruiters
  • Franchise recruiters working with home service brands
  • Master and area franchise placement firms
  • Franchise portals that also run a placement desk
  • Independent franchise recruiters working with a few brands

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Recruiters use personal numbers for every candidate, and the firm cannot see which brand was offered to whom
  • You plan to send brand packs to everyone who enquired in the past, including people who never agreed to hear from the firm
  • The brand packs keep changing and no one controls the version, so candidates would hold different figures

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send new-brand announcements to everyone who enquired?
Only to those who agreed to hear about new brands. Others should be asked first. Check the platform's current rules on business messages.
Who should answer on the firm's number?
A named person who knows the brands and can say when something is not yet confirmed. Give candidates a way to reach that person for a call.
What is the risk of forwarding brand packs on WhatsApp?
Stale figures. A pack forwarded from chat to chat carries terms that the brand may have changed. Keep one current version, send it from the firm's number with the date, and ask candidates to confirm figures with the brand before they decide.
How should the firm's number be shared between recruiters?
Use the business app on a shared device or a multi-user setup, with labels for the brand and stage. Each candidate should have one named recruiter, so replies do not come from two people and a brand is not pitched twice.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
