Generator rental · WhatsApp marketing

A generator hire is settled in a chat: size, rate, pin and a photograph.

WhatsApp marketing for a generator rental firm covers how enquiries are answered, how rates and photographs are sent and how past hirers are reminded before the next season. GullySales works on the business number, the replies and the lists, keeping to the platform's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For generator rental

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The buyer sends a location pin, not an address”

At a wedding gate the caller shares a map pin and a photograph of the plug point. A desk that can read the pin, see the distance and reply with a rate in the same chat wins over one that asks for a landline.

  • “Rate sheets travel in forwards”

A planner forwards your rate sheet to a client or a colleague. A tidy one-page image or PDF with sizes, inclusions and a booking line is passed on, while a long voice note is not.

  • “A personal phone loses the history”

When the person who handles bookings leaves, the chats go with the handset. A business number with saved replies keeps the quote history and lets a second person answer on the same line.

  • “Broadcasts to the wrong people annoy”

A message about site hire sent to wedding customers, or a festival offer sent at midnight, gets the number blocked. Lists divided by kind of buyer, and messages only to those who agreed, protect the line.

What we do

What we deliver for generator rental.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business number with saved replies

Greeting, load questions, rate sheet and booking steps set up as quick replies.

Result: Every enquiry gets the same clear opening.

  2. A rate sheet made for forwarding

A one-page sheet with sizes, inclusions and a booking line, ready to send in a chat.

Result: Planners can pass your sheet on without rewriting it.

  3. Opt-in lists by kind of buyer

Planners, sites, facilities and committees recorded with consent and the date they agreed.

Result: Messages go only to people who asked to hear from you.

  4. A season reminder message

A short note to past hirers before wedding season, festivals and summer, with a booking route.

Result: Past hirers hear from you before they start looking.

  5. A handover chat checklist

Photos of the tank level, meter and set sent in the chat at delivery and return.

Result: Condition and fuel are on record in the same thread.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send the right hire message at each step of the chat.

The location pin reply
Confirms the pin, the delivery route and the name of the person at the gate, so the driver does not call three times.
Rate sheet for forwarding
A single message listing sets, kVA and inclusions, written so a planner can forward it to a client without edits.
Photograph of the actual set
A picture of the set allotted, with its number, sent before dispatch so the customer sees what is arriving.
Handover checklist
Fuel level, hours reading and cable length, typed into the chat at handover, which serves as the record.
Extension request
A message asking for the new return date, sent a day before the hire ends, noted in the sheet.
Opt-in for season reminders
One question asking whether the customer wants to hear before the next wedding or festival season.

Who it is for

This is written for these generator rental.

  • Silent diesel generator hirers for events and weddings
  • Industrial and construction site power suppliers
  • Hospital and clinic standby power providers
  • Data centre and IT park backup hirers
  • Gas and dual-fuel generator rental firms
  • Light tower and portable power rental businesses
  • Generator service companies adding rentals
  • Electrical contractors who hold sets for hire

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Sets are booked from several personal phones, so chat history would be scattered and a hire dispute could not be settled.
  • Nobody checks the chat in the evening, which is when planners reply.
  • You want to broadcast offers to every number in the phone, though most never asked to hear from the yard.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send offers to everyone in our contacts?
Not safely. Send only to people who have agreed to hear from you, and check the platform's current rules on business messaging before any broadcast.
Is the WhatsApp Business app enough?
For a small fleet, yes, since it offers saved replies and labels. A larger desk with several people may want the platform's business interface, and we advise after seeing your enquiry volume.
Is a chat message enough as a hire agreement?
Use it as a record alongside a short written hire form. The chat shows what was agreed on set, fuel and hours, but a signed form covers damage and liability. Check the wording of your hire terms with a lawyer.
Should the driver be in the customer chat?
Add the driver on the day of delivery only. The customer then reaches the person on the road, while the desk keeps the booking. A permanent driver in every chat mixes the delivery with the commercial talk and loses control of the record.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
