Signage companies · WhatsApp marketing

Send the lit photograph on WhatsApp and the owner shows it to the landlord.

WhatsApp is where a signage enquiry arrives, where the mock-up is approved and where the complaint lands. GullySales sets up the business account, the saved replies and the broadcast rules so that each message in the chat moves a job forward.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For signage companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry is a photograph”

A picture of a shopfront and one line asking the rate is how the chat opens. A reply that asks four questions and offers a measurement keeps the owner talking. A bare rate ends the conversation.

  • “Approval happens in the chat, so the chat is the record”

The client agrees to a colour at nine at night and denies it on installation day. A saved mock-up with a typed confirmation, kept with the job, settles that without an argument.

  • “A catalogue answers before the question is asked”

Glow signs, ACP letters, neon and acrylic wall letters, each with real installed photographs, sit in the business catalogue. The owner scrolls it while standing outside the empty shop.

  • “Broadcast to past clients, and give a reason”

A pre-monsoon check or a festival refresh offer suits a list of people you have worked for. A general promotion to strangers earns blocks. Message only those who dealt with you, and let them opt out.

What we do

What we deliver for signage companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business account set up properly

Firm name, address, working hours, a short description and the sign types, with the catalogue filled from installed work.

Result: A new contact sees a working business.

  2. Saved replies for the first message

Replies for a rate enquiry, a measurement booking, a mock-up sent, a quote sent and an approval request, in the language your clients write in.

Result: Every enquiry gets the same clear first answer.

  3. Labels that follow the job

New enquiry, measurement booked, awaiting approval, in fabrication and installed, applied to each chat.

Result: You filter the chats and see which jobs wait on the client.

  4. Approval wording kept in the chat

A message stating size, material, colour code and installation date, which the client confirms by reply before production.

Result: The confirmation sits with the job.

  5. Broadcast lists built on consent

Lists of past clients for pre-monsoon checks and festival refresh offers, drawn from people who contacted you, with a clear way to leave.

Result: Messages reach people who expect them.

  6. Team handover rules

Who answers which chat, what happens when a staff member leaves, and how the number and history stay with the firm.

Result: The firm owns its conversations.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

What to send a shop owner on WhatsApp at each step of a signboard job.

First reply to a shop photograph
Acknowledge the photograph and ask for the opening date, the shop width and whether the board must be lit. Save it as a reply to use again.
Measurement visit confirmation
Send the name of the person coming and the time window. The shop owner then knows who to expect at the door.
Mock-up image
Send the board shown on the photograph of the shopfront. Ask for a written yes in the same chat so approval stays with the job.
Approval cut-off message
State the date after which the board cannot be ready for the opening. Keep the wording polite and plain.
Installation day photograph
Send the lit board photograph taken at the shopfront. Ask whether the owner is willing to post it or pass it to the landlord.
Care and service note
Send a short note on cleaning and who to ring if a light fails. It gives the client a number to use before they look elsewhere.

Who it is for

This is written for these signage companies.

  • ACP and acrylic letter signboard makers
  • LED and glow sign board manufacturers
  • Neon and LED neon sign studios
  • Corporate office and wayfinding signage companies
  • Retail and franchise rollout signage vendors
  • Outdoor hoarding and site branding companies
  • Digital signage and display installers
  • Flex, vinyl and vehicle branding printers
  • Hospital and institutional signage specialists

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You plan to send a broadcast to every number in an old enquiry list, many of whom never agreed to hear from you.
  • Your team shares one personal number and cannot say who answered which client.
  • The client prefers a call and a written quote, and WhatsApp would add a channel nobody reads.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use the ordinary app or the business app?
Use the business app on the firm's number, with a profile, catalogue, labels and saved replies. Keep it off personal staff phones where you can, so client history does not leave with a person. Check the platform's current features and rules.
Can we message every number on our old enquiry list?
Message people who dealt with you and expect to hear from you. Cold messages to bought lists bring blocks and put the number at risk. Include a plain way to stop receiving messages, and check the platform's current rules before any broadcast.
A client wants the quote only on WhatsApp. Is that acceptable?
Yes, if the message carries what a printed quote would: size, material, lighting, fixing, warranty, taxes and a validity date. Send it as a document so the owner can forward it to the landlord or accountant without losing any detail.
Can we send the rate per square foot on WhatsApp?
Send a quote, not a bare rate. A rate alone invites a comparison with a cheaper material, while a quote shows the sign type, size and what is included. The reason is that a shop owner forwards the message to others, so it must stand on its own.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
