Solar equipment dealers · Content marketing

Write down what your counter already explains to installers all day.

Content marketing for a solar equipment dealer is turning the technical answers your counter gives every day into guides, rate notes and product explainers that installers keep. GullySales works on choosing the questions, writing them plainly and placing them where buyers search.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For solar equipment dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The best content is already spoken at the counter”

Why this string size, which cable for a long run, what happens when a panel mismatches an inverter. Each answer given aloud ten times is a page that could serve the eleventh installer without a phone call.

  • “Installers save checklists and sizing sheets”

A one-page guide for ordering a home kit or checking what accompanies an inverter gets forwarded and pinned. A generic article about renewable energy gets read once, if at all.

  • “Accuracy is the whole credibility”

A wrong cable rating or an outdated warranty term in a guide costs you the trust of an installer who knows better. Every technical sentence should be checked against the datasheet or the principal.

  • “Content has to tie to what you stock”

A guide recommending products you do not carry sends the reader to a competitor. The pages should point to the items and makes you hold.

What we do

What we deliver for solar equipment dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of questions drawn from your counter

A running list of what installers ask, collected from calls and chats and sorted by topic.

Result: You hold a real list of questions and not guessed ones.

  2. Plain guides on sizing and selection

Short guides on inverter and panel pairing, structure choice and cable and protection selection.

Result: A new installer can read one page before ordering.

  3. A product-change note format

A short template announcing a model change or price move with the reason stated.

Result: Buyers learn about a change from you first.

  4. A technical check by someone who knows

A step where your principal's datasheet or a qualified person confirms each figure before publishing.

Result: No guide goes out with an unchecked specification.

  5. A content shelf on your website

A place on the site where guides and notes are listed by topic and by product.

Result: Guides are found by browsing as well as by search.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Posts and pieces to plan

Write these pieces from the questions your counter answers every day.

Which cable size for a long DC run
A one-page guide with the sizes you stock. Needs checking against the cable datasheet before it goes out, because installers know the numbers.
What comes with a hybrid inverter
A checklist of the box contents, the warranty card and the registration step. Installers pin this and forward it to the customer.
Panel and inverter mismatch
A short explainer on why a panel string does not suit every inverter, with an example drawn from a datasheet and not a general claim.
How to order a home kit from us
A plain sheet covering what to send, what is quoted and who installs. It replaces the same ten questions on WhatsApp.
Warranty claim route for a faulty unit
The steps from serial number to replacement, written as your dealer process. Needs the principal's current terms checked.

Who it is for

This is written for these solar equipment dealers.

  • Solar module and panel distributors
  • Inverter and hybrid inverter dealers
  • Mounting structure and fabrication suppliers
  • DC and AC cable and protection equipment dealers
  • Battery and storage equipment dealers
  • Kit sellers for homes and small shops
  • Solar pump and agricultural equipment dealers
  • Wholesale suppliers to EPC firms

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • No one on your team can check a technical sentence against a datasheet, so a published error would cost you an installer's trust
  • You stock too few items for a guide to point at, so a reader would be sent to a competitor who holds them
  • You want content to replace your rate broadcast, when installers still need the live price and stock message

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the plan

Topics and formats come from the content strategy and the buyer-question list. The volume goes into the written scope, agreed with you, not into a number quoted on a call.

  2. 2

    Brief and draft

Each piece starts from its one-page brief and a short conversation with your technical person, recorded if they allow it, so the draft uses their words.

  3. 3

    Check the facts

Your person marks the draft for accuracy and we correct it. Regulated subjects also go to your own adviser, because restrictions on claims apply to articles as much as to advertisements.

  4. 4

    Publish and distribute

The piece goes live on your site, then out through the channels where your buyers already are.

  5. 5

    Read the enquiries and adjust

Results are reported against the baseline recorded before work began. Topics that brought readers but no enquiries are changed or dropped. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to write long articles?
No. A page of exact, checked answers beats a long essay. Length only matters if each paragraph answers something an installer would ask.
Who writes the technical content?
We draft from your answers and your datasheets, and you or your principal check every figure. The knowledge is yours; the writing and structure are ours.
Can content replace our rate broadcast?
No. The broadcast carries today's price and stock, while content carries lasting explanations. They do different jobs and sit side by side.
A principal brand changes its warranty terms. What happens to our guides?
Update or retire them the same day you hear. A guide quoting an old warranty term misleads the installer and lands the claim on you. Note the principal's document and its date at the foot of each technical page so the next check is simple.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
