Solar inverter manufacturers · Content marketing

Write the application note an engineer attaches to the tender, not another brand story.

Content marketing for a solar inverter manufacturer means producing technical and practical material that installers, engineers and dealers keep, forward and cite. GullySales drafts from your datasheets and service records, and your engineers review each piece before it is published.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For solar inverter manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Engineers keep documents, not slogans”

A comparison note on string against hybrid for a given plant, with wiring diagrams, is saved in a project folder and opened again at the next tender. A brochure is skimmed once. The format that gets reused is the one with figures an engineer can check.

  • “Service knowledge is unused content”

Your service team already answers the same questions on grid settings, earthing and monitoring set-up. Written once as a guide, each answer serves every installer who would otherwise phone. The material exists and is not yet on a page.

  • “Dealers need words they can say”

A counter person comparing two inverters needs three plain sentences on why yours suits a given job. A dealer guide written in that spoken register is used. A specification sheet is not.

  • “Case studies need permission and restraint”

A plant write-up shows the setup and what the installer faced. It does not state savings or generation figures unless the owner has agreed and the number is verified by your team.

What we do

What we deliver for solar inverter manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Application notes by plant type

Notes for home, shop, farm and factory setups covering model choice, wiring and first checks.

Result: An installer has one document to read before choosing a model.

  2. Commissioning and troubleshooting guides

Step guides built from your service team's repeated answers.

Result: Fewer repeat questions reach your support line on the same topic.

  3. Dealer counter guide

A short plain-language guide on what to say when a buyer compares your range with another.

Result: A new counter person can pitch your range on the first day.

  4. Engineer comparison notes

Technical notes that set out your model against the criteria an engineer applies, using your own verified figures.

Result: An engineer can attach the note to an internal approval file.

  5. Case study framework

A template and consent routine for plant write-ups that avoids unverified figures.

Result: Each case study states only what the owner and your team have confirmed.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Posts and pieces to plan

Write the notes an engineer attaches to a tender, not another brand story.

Application note for a commercial rooftop
Which models suit which plant size and phase, with the sizing method. Needs your design engineer to sign it off.
Hybrid inverter and battery pairing guide
The compatible batteries, the settings to check and the common pairing mistakes. Pulled from your service team's calls.
Installer's commissioning checklist
A one-page sheet to carry on site. Kept short enough to be printed, and numbered to the model.
Monitoring set-up guide
How to connect a unit to the app and the data logger. Written from the questions that reach support.
Dealer talking points for the new model
A short sheet of plain words a dealer can say at the counter. Without it, a dealer pushes the brand they understand.

Who it is for

This is written for these solar inverter manufacturers.

  • String inverter makers for rooftop and commercial plants
  • Hybrid inverter makers for homes and shops
  • Off-grid and solar pump drive makers
  • Microinverter and power optimiser makers
  • Three-phase inverter makers for factories
  • Monitoring and data logger makers
  • Assemblers selling under dealer brands
  • Brands entering export markets

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your design engineer has no time to approve a draft, and an unchecked note carries an error to every reader
  • You would publish efficiency or generation figures that your own test records do not support
  • You have no service data to draw on, so the notes would be general advice that any maker could publish

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the plan

Topics and formats come from the content strategy and the buyer-question list. The volume goes into the written scope, agreed with you, not into a number quoted on a call.

  2. 2

    Brief and draft

Each piece starts from its one-page brief and a short conversation with your technical person, recorded if they allow it, so the draft uses their words.

  3. 3

    Check the facts

Your person marks the draft for accuracy and we correct it. Regulated subjects also go to your own adviser, because restrictions on claims apply to articles as much as to advertisements.

  4. 4

    Publish and distribute

The piece goes live on your site, then out through the channels where your buyers already are.

  5. 5

    Read the enquiries and adjust

Results are reported against the baseline recorded before work began. Topics that brought readers but no enquiries are changed or dropped. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Who writes the technical content?
We draft from your datasheets, service notes and interviews with your engineers. Your engineers review and correct each page. We do not invent specifications, and a page does not go live until your team has approved it.
Should we publish performance figures?
Only those from your tested datasheet or an agreed site, and each with its source. Do not publish generation or savings claims that your team cannot back with records. Leave out any figure an engineer could not trace.
Support knows what customers get wrong. How do we use that?
Ask support for the five questions they answer most and the answer they give. Each becomes a short page or sheet, written in their words and checked by an engineer. It is content no competitor has, because it comes from your own claims and calls, not from a datasheet.
May we compare our inverter with a named rival?
Avoid named comparisons. Facts about a rival's model change, and a mistake invites a dispute. Compare by use instead, such as phase, battery pairing or monitoring, and state what your units do. A buyer who knows the rival will make the comparison unprompted.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
