Solar inverter manufacturers · Social media

Post what an installer would forward: commissioning clips, error cards and dealer wins.

Social media marketing for a solar inverter manufacturer is the use of LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook to reach installers, engineers and dealers with practical material. GullySales plans and drafts posts around commissioning, service and application work, and your team supplies the photographs and approvals.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For solar inverter manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Installers forward useful clips”

A short video showing how to clear a fault or set grid parameters gets passed to the installer's own team on WhatsApp. A brand announcement does not. Practical content travels between the people who carry the brand to the roof.

  • “LinkedIn is where engineers and procurement sit”

Project engineers, EPC managers and procurement staff are on LinkedIn for work. Posts that carry a technical comparison, a certificate update or a plant case study written with the owner's consent reach them better than product graphics.

  • “Customer sites need written consent”

A photograph of an installation shows a real roof and a real owner. Posting it without agreement from the installer and the site owner creates a problem. Ask first, and keep the consent in a record.

  • “Dealer pages are free reach”

Dealers run their own social pages. A kit with approved images, model descriptions and a short caption lets them post your range correctly instead of copying a competitor's poster.

What we do

What we deliver for solar inverter manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Content plan by audience

Separate streams for installers, engineers and dealers, each with a purpose and a format.

Result: Every post has a named audience and a reason to exist.

  2. Commissioning and service clips

Short videos shot with your service engineers on set-up, error codes and firmware.

Result: Installers have a clip to send to a colleague when a unit shows a fault.

  3. Consent record for site photographs

A one-page form and a log for installer and site owner agreement.

Result: You can show which photographs are cleared for use.

  4. Dealer social kit

Approved images, captions and a do-and-do-not sheet for dealers posting your range.

Result: A dealer can post a correct model description without calling your office.

  5. LinkedIn engineer posts

Drafts built on certificates, application notes and comparison tables, reviewed by your engineers.

Result: Each technical post is signed off before it goes out.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Posts and pieces to plan

Plan these posts around what an installer forwards to a colleague.

Commissioning walk-through of a hybrid unit
A short clip showing the steps on the display. Needs an engineer on your side to confirm the settings shown are current.
Error code card
A single image with a common fault, the display message and the first check. Installers save these and send them to the site.
Dealer win in a thin district
A dealer's first large order, shared with their agreement. Shows other dealers what the brand does for the people who carry it.
Factory test bench
Photographs of units being tested, with the test named. Gives a procurement engineer something real to read.
New model arrival and who it suits
A post naming the model, the phase and the use. Ends with the datasheet link, not a general slogan.

Who it is for

This is written for these solar inverter manufacturers.

  • String inverter makers for rooftop and commercial plants
  • Hybrid inverter makers for homes and shops
  • Off-grid and solar pump drive makers
  • Microinverter and power optimiser makers
  • Three-phase inverter makers for factories
  • Monitoring and data logger makers
  • Assemblers selling under dealer brands
  • Brands entering export markets

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no engineer who can check a post for technical accuracy, and a wrong setting shown on screen reaches many installers
  • Your customers have not agreed to be shown, and a site photograph without consent costs the account
  • No one is assigned to answer the technical questions a post brings, so the comments would fill with unanswered faults

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm audience, platforms and access

We note which platforms your buyers use and check that the pages sit under your own business accounts, with you as owner and us as added roles.

  2. 2

    Review the current presence

We read the existing pages, the posts that drew replies and the gaps in posting.

  3. 3

    Build the calendar

Themes, formats and dates are set out for your approval, with space for offers and news.

  4. 4

    Create, approve and publish

Posts are made, approved by you and scheduled. Replies to the public are handled in your voice.

  5. 5

    Record enquiries and adjust

Enquiries are logged against the post or platform where they began, and the mix changes to follow what brings them.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform should we start with?
For engineers and EPC buyers, LinkedIn. For installers and dealers, YouTube and WhatsApp carry the practical clips. Instagram and Facebook suit dealer pages and brand recall. Start where your own buyers already talk, and check the platform's current rules before running paid posts.
Can we post customer installations?
Only with written agreement from the installer and the site owner. Keep the agreement on file. Where it is missing, use your own demonstration site or a diagram instead.
A comment on our page reports a fault. How should we answer in public?
Reply once to say you have seen it and ask them to share the serial number and model by message. Take the detail out of the comments. A public thread that tries to diagnose a unit invites guesses. Log the case in your claim record so the reply is not the only trace.
Should dealers post under our brand?
Give them a short set of approved images and a plain rule on logo use, and check the content before it goes out. Dealer pages reach local installers you cannot. A dealer who posts an inaccurate claim speaks in your name, so agree what may be said.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
