What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For vehicle rental

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The pick-up point decides the search”

A tourist stepping off a train searches near me, and the results are drawn by distance and profile detail. A listing with the wrong pin, or no pin for the pick-up bay, loses to a closer one.

  • “Reviews describe the vehicle you cannot show”

A customer cannot inspect the van before paying. A recent review that mentions a clean vehicle, an on-time driver or an honest return carries more weight than any line you write about yourself.

  • “Service areas are claimed too widely or too narrowly”

Listing every town in the district looks like a stretch, while listing only your street hides the airport run you do every day. The profile should match the places you really serve.

  • “Photos on the profile are old or borrowed”

Stock images of a vehicle you do not own set a false expectation, and the first photo at pick-up shows the difference. Real, recent photos of the actual fleet remove that gap.

What we do

What we deliver for vehicle rental.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Complete Google Business Profile

Name, address, pick-up pin, hours, vehicle types and service areas filled in carefully and matched to your site.

Result: The listing shows the same details everywhere it appears.

  2. Fleet and pick-up photos

A set of real photos of each vehicle, the office or bay and the handover, added to the profile.

Result: A customer sees the vehicle they will receive.

  3. A review request routine

A message sent after a clean return that links straight to your review page, with a note for the team on when to send it.

Result: Every returning customer is asked, by the same wording.

  4. Reply to reviews in your voice

Plain, specific replies to praise and to complaints, written for the next customer who reads them.

Result: Both good and bad reviews show an owner who responds.

  5. Local pages for airport and station pick-up

Pages for the places you collect from, with directions and what to carry.

Result: A visitor knows where to meet you before the call.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

These local searches decide who a renter near the station finds first.

car rental near me
A complete map profile with the pick-up address, opening hours and a pin set to the real counter, not the owner's home.
bike on rent near bus stand
A profile photo of the bikes at the stand, with the helmet and document rules in the description.
self drive car near airport
A listing that states the shuttle or meeting arrangement, because the searcher is deciding on convenience at arrival.
tempo traveller booking in your city
A service listing for group vehicles, with seat counts and the area of operation named honestly on the profile.
24 hour car rental
Use the phrase only if a person answers through the night. Set the hours on the profile to match what really happens.

Who it is for

This is written for these vehicle rental.

  • Self-drive car and scooter rental near stations, airports and tourist areas
  • Chauffeur-driven car hire for outstation and airport trips
  • Tempo traveller and mini-bus operators for family trips, pilgrimages and weddings
  • Wedding and event car hire for guests and the couple
  • Monthly rentals and leases to companies for staff transport
  • Commercial vehicle and pickup hire for traders and contractors
  • Tourist and long-stay bike rental near travel hubs
  • Film, event and production unit vehicle supply

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your pick-up point is a street corner with no fixed address, so a map listing would send renters to the wrong place.
  • You cannot reply to review comments, and a profile full of unanswered complaints puts renters off.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we list several branches on Maps?
Yes, where each is a real place customers can visit or be served from. We set up each profile with its own details and photos, and check the rules on Google's current page.
What if a competitor leaves fake reviews?
Report them through the platform and keep a record. We do not buy or write reviews for you. Check the platform's current rules on review requests before you start a routine.
Can the map profile show vehicles that are out on rent?
Show the types you run, not a live stock. A photo of a vehicle that is booked for the season invites a call you cannot honour, so use pictures of the usual fleet and say on the profile that availability is confirmed on the call.
Should we ask renters to review before they return the vehicle?
Ask after the return, once the deposit is settled. A review request at the counter feels like pressure, and a renter who is waiting on a refund writes a different review than one who has finished the trip.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
