Wedding photographers · WhatsApp marketing

Answer the Sunday-night message with free dates, a gallery and the advance in one reply.

WhatsApp marketing for a wedding photographer is the use of WhatsApp Business to answer enquiries, send galleries and quotes, and keep in touch with past couples. GullySales works on the profile, the replies and the lists you keep with permission.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For wedding photographers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The family writes to you at the hour they are free”

Evenings and Sundays, after the day's work and the family's discussion. A reply that waits until Monday arrives after the family has written to the next name.

  • “Large files and long messages lose the reader”

A heavy gallery sent as photographs clogs a phone, and a long block of text is skipped. A link to a full wedding and a short message with dates is read.

  • “Broadcasts to everyone annoy the families you want”

A message about an offer sent to every contact reaches couples who married years ago and neighbours who never enquired. People who did not ask for it block you.

  • “The number on the card must reach someone”

Some photographers use a personal number. When the phone is on a shoot, the enquiry waits. A business number with a catalogue, a greeting and an away message covers the gap.

What we do

What we deliver for wedding photographers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp Business profile and catalogue

The profile completed with your services and a catalogue of packages, plus a greeting and away message that state when you reply.

Result: A family opening your chat sees what you offer and when you answer.

  2. Saved replies for the common questions

Written replies for dates, team, album and advance, loaded into the app so you can send them in a tap.

Result: A first answer goes out complete.

  3. A link to a full wedding, ready to send

A page or folder of a full wedding in the family's tradition, with the couple's consent, kept as a link to paste.

Result: You send one link instead of forty pictures.

  4. A permission-based list

A list of past couples and enquirers who have agreed to hear from you, with the date and wording of their agreement.

Result: Every contact on your list has said yes.

  5. A short message for planners

A note you can send to planners and venue managers with a gallery link and a polite request to keep you in mind.

Result: Each planner on your list has received your gallery.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

The details to send and capture in the first WhatsApp reply to a family.

Free dates for the asked functions
State which of the asked dates are free, held or taken, in a line. A family writing at night wants an answer in the morning, in words.
Link to a full wedding
A link to one gallery from a similar community, not a file. Large files are lost, and a link opens on any phone.
What the quote covers
Team size, functions, edited photographs and album, in a short message. Save it as a reply and edit for the family.
Advance and date-hold deadline
State the amount you ask and how to pay. Say that the date is held until the stated day, so the family knows.
Consent to be messaged again
Ask once. Families who agreed receive a note before their wedding or a festival greeting, and the rest do not.

Who it is for

This is written for these wedding photographers.

  • Traditional wedding photographers covering rituals and functions
  • Candid and cinematic wedding photographers
  • Pre-wedding and engagement shoot specialists
  • Destination wedding photographers
  • Community-specific wedding photographers
  • Multi-team wedding photography studios
  • Wedding photographers who also deliver albums and frames
  • Single-photographer boutique wedding teams

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your number is a personal phone shared across the family and not monitored for enquiries during the season.
  • You plan to send an offer to every contact in your phone, which families who never booked would find intrusive.
  • You cannot reply to a message the same day, and a late reply to a family comparing teams loses the date.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send offers to everyone in our phone?
No. Message people who have agreed to hear from you, give them a simple way to stop, and check the platform's current rules on business messages.
Should we use the green tick or a verified account?
Not necessary to begin. A complete WhatsApp Business profile is enough. Look at the platform's current requirements if you want to apply for verification.
How do we avoid replying to every message late?
Set an away message with your reply time, assign one person to the number during the season, and use saved replies. Do not promise a reply time you cannot keep.
Can we send offers to everyone in our phone?
No. Contacts who have not agreed to receive offers will see it as spam, and the platform may restrict the number. Message past couples who agreed, and send others a reply only when they write first. Check the platform's current rules on business messages.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
