Document scanning and digitisation services · Local SEO

Be the scanning firm a buyer finds on the map in the city of the project.

Local SEO for a scanning firm is the work of showing in the map and nearby results when a buyer looks for a firm in the city or area of the records room. GullySales sets up the listing, the area pages and the review routine for a business that works at the client's site.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For document scanning and digitisation services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A buyer in a city wants a firm that can come”

Where the project is on site, the buyer asks who can reach it. A listing that names the cities and areas you serve, and says you work at the client's premises, answers that question before the call.

  • “The office address may not be where work happens”

A scanning firm's work happens in client rooms, not at the office. The listing should be set up for a business that serves clients at their location, and the platform's current rules should be checked before choosing what to display.

  • “Reviews from business clients are delicate”

A hospital or law office may not wish to be named. A review from a purchasing person who is comfortable, written without confidential details, helps a buyer decide. Ask politely and accept a no. Never quote a review that names a client without their consent.

  • “Several branches need consistent details”

A firm with a second office or a partner in another city must keep names and numbers consistent. Mismatched listings make a buyer doubt the firm's size and send calls to the wrong office. One person should own the master list of details.

What we do

What we deliver for document scanning and digitisation services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A complete Google Business Profile

Name, address or service area, hours, services and photographs of the equipment and the team, with no client documents visible.

Result: A buyer sees a real firm and where it works.

  2. Area pages for the cities served

Pages naming the cities and regions you cover and how an on-site project is arranged.

Result: A buyer in another city finds a page for its place.

  3. A review request for business clients

A polite note to clients who have finished a project, asking for a brief review without confidential detail.

Result: Reviews come from clients who chose to write.

  4. Branch and partner consistency

A review of every listing so names, addresses and numbers agree across offices.

Result: No buyer reaches the wrong office.

  5. Photographs without client records

Pictures of equipment, the team and a clean workspace, with every client document removed from view.

Result: Photographs build trust without breaking confidence.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do reviews help a business-to-business firm?
A buyer checking a firm before a site visit reads them. Keep them honest, never buy them and never offer a reward. Do not let a client's name or file details appear in any review.
We have no shopfront. Can we still have a listing?
A listing is allowed for a business that serves clients at their location, and the platform's current rules say what it accepts. Check them before setting up, and give an honest picture of where you work.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
