Family lawyers · Local SEO

Be the family law office that appears when someone searches near the court.

Local SEO for a family law practice means appearing in map results and local searches when a person looks for a family lawyer in a city or near a particular court. GullySales works on your Google Business Profile, your address details and the local pages that tell a searcher where and how you practise.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For family lawyers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The searcher often wants a lawyer near the family court”

A person facing a hearing looks for an office close to the court complex, where papers can be dropped and meetings held. A profile that names the court and the nearest landmark answers that need.

  • “Inconsistent details make the office look uncertain”

If the name, address and phone differ across your profile, directory listings and website, a searcher cannot tell which is right. One agreed version used everywhere removes the doubt.

  • “Reviews are a sensitive subject in family law”

Client confidentiality and bar council rules limit what you can ask for or display. Do not solicit reviews for family matters, and check with your own adviser what a profile may carry.

  • “Visiting a family lawyer is a private act”

Someone walking into an office to discuss a separation does not want a crowd or a signboard that announces the matter. Telling a visitor about the entrance, parking and appointment-only meetings eases the visit.

What we do

What we deliver for family lawyers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up

Name, address, practice description, hours and appointment link entered carefully and within the platform's current rules.

Result: The profile shows the same details as your website.

  2. Citation clean-up

A check of directory and map listings so that the name, address and phone match one agreed form.

Result: No listing carries an old address or number.

  3. Court and area pages

Pages that name the family courts and neighbourhoods you serve and explain how to reach the office.

Result: A local searcher sees where you sit relative to the court.

  4. Directions and privacy notes

Plain information on the entrance, parking, appointments and who meets the visitor.

Result: A first visit feels less exposed.

  5. A local-search check

A short record of what appears when someone searches for a family lawyer in your city.

Result: You see how the office shows up for a searcher in the area.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we collect reviews on our profile?
Advocates face restrictions on soliciting, and family matters are confidential. Ask your bar council or adviser what is allowed. GullySales does not recommend asking clients of a family matter for a review.
Do we need a separate page for each court?
Only where you appear in more than one. A page for each court you serve helps the local searcher, so long as each page says something distinct about that court.
Will a map listing bring in walk-ins?
Some visitors may arrive unannounced, so decide how the office will receive them. Family matters begin by phone, so make the call route as clear as the address.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
