Legal documentation firms · Search engine optimisation

Search sends people to the office that has a page for the exact document they need.

SEO for a legal documentation firm means having a clear page for each document, so that a search for a rent agreement, a will or a name change affidavit finds your office and not a directory. GullySales works on those pages, the wording people search with and the way the site shows where the office is.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For legal documentation firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “People search by document, not by firm”

Nobody types the name of a documentation firm. They type 'sale deed drafting', 'gift deed' or 'affidavit for name change', and a site with one page called Services has nothing for the search engine to match.

  • “Directories take the first results”

Large listing sites and online document platforms sit above a local office for generic searches. The way back is a page with local detail and the papers needed that a directory cannot write for your state.

  • “State rules make generic pages useless”

Stamp duty and registration practice differ by state, and sometimes by district. A page copied from a national site is vague, and a reader who spots the vagueness calls an office that is specific.

  • “Old pages quote old figures”

A page that states a fee or a duty rate goes wrong the day the rule changes. Safer pages say what the office prepares and tell the reader to confirm current charges with the office on the day.

What we do

What we deliver for legal documentation firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each document

Rent agreement, sale deed, gift deed, will, affidavit, partnership deed and power of attorney each get a page in plain language.

Result: Every document the office prepares has its own address on the site.

  2. A papers-to-carry list on each page

What the tenant, landlord, buyer or seller brings, in a list a person can screenshot.

Result: The reader leaves knowing what to bring.

  3. Locality and state wording

Pages mention the areas served and say where rules differ by state, without quoting figures that change.

Result: The pages read as written for this place.

  4. Titles and headings matched to searches

Page titles and headings that use the words a person types for each document.

Result: The titles contain the document and the town.

  5. A check of the search results for each document

A look at who appears for each document search in your area and what their pages lack.

Result: The owner sees the gaps against competitors.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will a page for each document really matter?
Each page gives a search engine one clear thing to match and gives a reader the answer they came for. We cannot promise a position, but a missing page guarantees you are not in the running for that search.
Can we put fees on the pages?
Only fixed fees that you confirm. Stamp duty and registration charges differ by state, so we state that and send the reader to the office rather than print figures that may be out of date.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
