Operations consultants · Search engine optimisation

Appear when an owner types the delay they are tired of, not the name of your method.

SEO for an operations consultant is the work of making your pages the answer to what an owner types when the floor misbehaves. GullySales plans the symptom pages, the sector pages and the on-page basics that let search engines read them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For operations consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Owners search the problem in plain words”

The query is why deliveries are late, how to reduce rejection or why staff skip the SOP. A site built around methodology never matches those words, however good the work behind it.

  • “Method words attract the wrong visitors”

Lean and Six Sigma bring course seekers and students. A page can mention them, but the heading should be the owner's trouble, so the right reader recognises themselves.

  • “A sector gives a page its edge”

A page on rejection in a plastics unit competes with far fewer pages than a page on rejection in general. Naming the floor you have stood on narrows the field and sharpens the match.

  • “Confidential work still produces content”

You cannot name the client, but you can write what a changeover looks like, where wastage hides and what to measure. That teaching content is what search engines can index and what owners save.

What we do

What we deliver for operations consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A keyword map by symptom and sector

A sheet pairing each problem phrase with the sector it belongs to and the page that will answer it.

Result: Every page has one target phrase and no two pages compete for it.

  2. Symptom pages written from the floor

Pages that describe the problem as the owner lives it, the leak points and what you check first.

Result: An owner reads their own Friday in the first paragraph.

  3. Sector pages

One page for each sector you work in, listing its stages, leakage points and the questions asked on a first visit.

Result: A foundry owner and a clinic chain owner each land on their own page.

  4. Page titles and descriptions

Titles and descriptions rewritten so the search result reads as the owner's problem.

Result: Each result names the problem before it names you.

  5. Internal links between pages

Symptom pages link to sector pages and the diagnostic offer, so a reader moves from problem to next step.

Result: No page is a dead end; every one points to the diagnostic.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How do we rank above bigger consulting firms?
We cannot promise a ranking. What we do is write for narrower phrases that large firms ignore, a single symptom in a single sector, where a specific page can compete.
Should we write about lean and Six Sigma?
Include them as supporting terms inside pages that open with the owner's problem. Leading with them draws learners instead of buyers.
Does confidentiality hurt SEO?
No. Pages teach how a problem arises and what to look at, which needs no client name. Anonymised case notes add proof without identifying anyone.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
