Structural and civil engineers · Website

Show the buildings you have engineered, not just a list of services.

A website for a structural practice is the page an architect, a plot owner or a committee opens to decide whether to call. GullySales rebuilds it around your completed projects and the jobs people hire you for, so a visitor finds proof and a way to reach you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For structural and civil engineers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A services list tells an architect nothing”

Structural design, audit and retrofitting are on every competitor's site. An architect deciding whether to call wants to see a hospital frame, a basement podium or a steel shed, and the constraint you solved. Projects are the evidence a services list cannot give.

  • “Each buyer needs their own way in”

The plot owner needs to know what drawings and site visits are included. The committee needs to see what a tested audit involves. An architect needs project pages. One home page that tries to answer all three leaves each of them searching.

  • “A sample audit report removes the main objection”

A committee choosing between a visual inspection and a tested audit cannot see the difference in a quotation. A sample report, with client details removed, shows what the fee buys and makes the cheaper quote look incomplete.

  • “The enquiry route has to work on a phone”

Visitors arrive on a mobile, from a message someone forwarded. A slow page or a long form loses them. A call button, a WhatsApp link and a short enquiry form that asks building type and location are enough.

What we do

What we deliver for structural and civil engineers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Project pages by building type

A page per notable project with building type, structural system, your role, the architect credited where agreed and site photographs.

Result: A visitor sees a structure like theirs.

  2. Pages for each job people hire you for

Separate pages for plan sanction drawings, structural audits, retrofitting, industrial sheds and proof checking, each explaining scope and process.

Result: Each buyer lands on a page about their own problem.

  3. A sample audit and inspection note

A redacted audit report and a stage inspection note, available to read or download.

Result: The committee sees the work before the first call.

  4. A short enquiry form with call and chat options

A form asking for name, phone, building type and city, with a phone number and WhatsApp link beside it.

Result: An enquiry reaches your register with the facts needed to reply.

  5. Plain team and practice pages

Who the engineers are, their qualifications and registrations as they hold them, and the areas you work in, each confirmed by you.

Result: A visitor knows who will sign the drawings.

  6. Technical foundations

Loading speed, phone layout, clear page titles and correct address details, checked before launch.

Result: The site works on the phone the visitor is holding.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

The searches that bring a structural engineer's visitors, and the page each should land on.

structural engineer near me for house plan
A city page for house owners listing drawings, calculations and site visits included, with a form asking for plot size and floors.
structural audit report sample
A page with a redacted report to read or download, showing the tests, findings and repair priorities. It lets a committee see what a tested audit gives over a visual one.
proof checking consultant for structural design
A page for builders and architects describing what you review, what you return and how disagreements with the original designer are recorded.
structural engineer for factory shed design
An industrial page with shed projects, the design checks, and how you work with the fabricator. Include the information the owner must supply.
retrofitting old building structural consultant
A page describing the investigation first, the options for repair, and that a site visit comes before any recommendation or fee.

Who it is for

This is written for these structural and civil engineers.

  • Structural design consultancies for residential and commercial buildings
  • Independent structural engineers working with architects
  • Structural audit, testing and retrofitting specialists
  • Pre-engineered and steel building design consultants
  • Civil engineering consultancies for roads, drainage and site development
  • Proof checking and peer review consultants
  • Geotechnical and soil investigation firms
  • Project management and site supervision consultancies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no photographs of your completed work or permission to show them, so project pages would stay empty.
  • You have not decided who answers the form and the phone, and a new site would only collect unanswered enquiries.
  • Your registrations and the engineers who sign drawings are unconfirmed, so the practice page would have nothing true to say.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What do we need to supply?
Project details, photographs and permissions to publish, plus a redacted sample report. We ask for the architect's agreement where they are credited. We write the pages from your material and you approve each one.
Do we need a blog?
Not to begin with. Project pages and job pages come first. Short technical notes can follow once those exist, written from questions your clients actually ask.
Can we publish client names and addresses?
Only with the owner's and architect's written permission. Where permission is missing, describe the building type and city without naming the client. We keep a record of what has been agreed for each page.
Can the site claim we are registered with a professional body?
Only if the registration is current and you give us the details to state. Rules on what an engineer may advertise differ, so check with your own council before publishing titles or membership. We write nothing about credentials you have not confirmed.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
