Renovation contractors · Search engine optimisation

Be the contractor a search for terrace leakage or shop refit actually finds.

SEO for a renovation contractor means writing pages for the specific repairs and refits that buyers type into a search box, backed by finished buildings and clear scope. GullySales works on the page structure, the wording and the proof so each job type can be found on its own.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Fit-out project team planning work across trades

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For renovation contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search for the problem, not the trade”

A committee types terrace leakage repair or a shopkeeper types shop interior refit. Nobody types renovation contractor when they need a leak stopped. A site with one general page cannot answer these searches, while a page for each job can.

  • “A gallery is not a page”

A long run of photographs on one page tell search engines and buyers little. A page that names the building, the scope, what stayed open and what the owner approved gives something to rank and something to read.

  • “Old house and heritage work is a separate search”

An owner of an old house is worried about walls that cannot be opened carelessly. Their questions differ from a retail refit, and a page that speaks to them is found by them, not by the shop manager.

  • “Pages that promise too much get ignored”

Claiming every building can be fixed reads like an advertisement. Pages that state what a repair method covers, and where an engineer's report comes first, earn the facility head's trust and avoid claims you cannot stand behind.

What we do

What we deliver for renovation contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A job-type map

A list of the repairs and refits you want to be found for, grouped by building and buyer.

Result: Every page on the site has a named search it answers.

  2. One page per job type

Terrace waterproofing, society facade, shop refit, branch renovation, old house and rental turnover, each with scope and a finished example.

Result: A search for one job lands on a page about that job.

  3. Scope and exclusion wording

Plain text that states what is included, what is excluded and how extras are raised.

Result: The page reads as a method, not a slogan.

  4. Technical housekeeping

Titles, headings, image names, page speed and links checked across the site.

Result: The site has no duplicate titles or broken pages.

  5. A search report in plain words

A summary of which pages are found for which searches and which brought a call.

Result: You can see which pages are worth extending.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can GullySales promise a ranking?
No. Rankings depend on competitors and on the search engine. The work is to make each page clear, specific and honest, and to show you what was found and what led to a call.
Do we need a blog?
Only where a buyer asks a question that a page can answer, such as how a hidden problem is priced. A short article tied to a real job is worth more than a calendar of general posts.
Can we say a building is safe after repair?
No. Structural opinions belong to a licensed engineer. State that the work follows the engineer's report and describe the method.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
