Residential interior designers · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a family near the project asks for a designer close by.

Local SEO for an interior studio is the work of appearing in Google Maps and local results when a family searches for designers in their area. GullySales works on your business profile, your reviews and the location pages behind them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For residential interior designers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A studio without a showroom still needs a profile”

Families check the address, photographs and reviews before they call. A profile with a clear service area, finished-home photographs and a studio address looks like a business that will still be there at handover.

  • “Reviews name the person, not the home”

A review that says the designer was good gives a searcher little to judge. One that names the flat size, the locality and the way delays were handled helps the next family picture the same project.

  • “Service areas are read literally”

A family in one suburb will not call a studio that appears to cover another. List the localities and projects you have finished homes in, and keep the same name, address and phone across every listing.

What we do

What we deliver for residential interior designers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business profile set-up and clean-up

Services, service areas, hours, photographs and the description written in plain words, kept consistent with the site.

Result: Your profile matches the website and describes what you actually do.

  2. Photograph plan for the profile

A set of finished-home photographs by room, added with the client's written permission.

Result: The profile shows furnished rooms, not bare finishes.

  3. Review request routine

A short message and a printed card asking the family for a review at the move-in visit, with a prompt to mention the flat size.

Result: Each finished home ends with a request, and reviews describe the home.

  4. Locality pages

Pages for areas where you have finished homes, each listing real projects and the type of flat.

Result: A family in that area sees homes near them.

  5. Listing consistency check

A check that the studio name, address and phone read the same on directories and the site.

Result: The same details appear everywhere a family might look.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Does a home studio with no showroom qualify for a profile?
That depends on the platform's current rules for service-area businesses. Check them before you set the profile up; GullySales can read them with you and set the profile to match.
What do we do about an unfair review?
Reply politely, state the facts and invite the person to talk. Do not offer anything for a changed review, and do not buy reviews. Check the platform's current rules before you flag one.
How many localities should the profile list?
List the ones where you have served families and can travel to site comfortably. A short honest list serves a searcher better than every area in the city.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
