Road construction contractors · Website

Build a site that answers the engineer's check before the phone call comes.

A website for a road contractor is the place an engineer, developer or main contractor checks your roads, plant and districts after hearing your name. GullySales works on its structure, its evidence and its enquiry routes.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Paving and road construction companies: show a real physical business scene illustrating Tenders and estimates. Price jobs by area, depth, tonne and length from your own material, plant and labour rates, and keep each revision and tender result.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For road construction contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The visitor arrives with your name already in hand”

Nobody finds a road contractor by wandering. A colleague gave the name, and the visitor checks it. The site's job is confirmation: roads built, plant owned, places served, and a contact that works. Put the district names and the work types where the eye lands first.

  • “A logo and a phone number prove nothing”

A site with only a banner and a number leaves every question open. Project managers want stretch details, engineers want certificates and plant, developers want finished layouts. Each should find theirs within a click or two. Give each buyer a plain label that says where to click.

  • “Plant and crew are part of the pitch”

A sub-contractor is hired for rollers, pavers and gangs that can start. A plant page that lists what you own, and what you hire in, answers the question a main contractor is thinking before they say it. State how many crews can start together, and do not inflate the figure.

  • “Enquiry forms need the facts a quotation uses”

A form with only name and message produces a call to ask the basics. Asking for location, area and surface type collects what the estimator needs and filters enquiries you cannot serve. Add a line saying what happens after the form is sent.

What we do

What we deliver for road construction contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A site map built around your three buyers

Pages for department work, sub-contracting and private roads, each reachable from the home page. Your team keeps it current as certificates arrive.

Result: Each visitor finds the section meant for them.

  2. A projects section with a page per stretch

Location, length, surface, difficulty and photographs. Your own engineer checks the wording before it is used.

Result: The site holds proof for each kind of work.

  3. A plant and crew page

Equipment owned and hired, crew strength and districts covered.

Result: A main contractor reads your capacity without calling.

  4. A downloadable credentials pack

The same PDF you send by message, reachable from the site.

Result: Credentials are one click away.

  5. An enquiry form for private road work

Fields for location, area, surface and start date.

Result: A quotation can begin from the form alone.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a new site or can we fix the old one?
If the structure is sound and the pages are thin, we fill it. If it is only a banner and a number, a rebuild is quicker than patching. A new build is worth it once the old structure blocks what you need to show.
Which pages come first?
Projects and plant, because they answer the first check. Work-type pages and the enquiry form follow. Add the work-type pages as soon as two or three stretches are written up.
Can the site name the departments we have worked for?
Only if the completion certificate allows it. Otherwise describe the road by length, surface and district. Check the certificate, or ask the client in writing, before any name goes up.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
