Road construction contractors · WhatsApp marketing

Make the number that engineers and project managers message worth answering.

WhatsApp marketing for a road contractor is using one business number to send credentials, answer stretch questions and follow quotations to people who already prefer to message. GullySales works on the profile, the saved replies and the habits of the person who answers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Paving and road construction companies: show a real physical business scene illustrating Tenders and estimates. Price jobs by area, depth, tonne and length from your own material, plant and labour rates, and keep each revision and tender result.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For road construction contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Site people message before they call”

A project manager on a stretch cannot take a call between a pour and a delivery. They send a message asking about crew or rollers, and judge you by the answer. A reply the same day, from a named person, beats a polished brochure.

  • “Documents travel as files here”

Plant lists, completion certificates and quotation sheets are forwarded between engineers. If your credentials are one tidy PDF with the firm's name, they travel intact. Loose photographs of documents get lost or misread. Name the file with the firm and the date so it is found again.

  • “A personal number is a single point of failure”

When enquiries go to the owner's own phone, they vanish when the owner is on site or away. A business number with a named handler and saved replies keeps the thread going. Keep a record of the thread in your enquiry sheet.

  • “Broadcasting to a purchased list backfires”

Messages to people who never asked are reported or ignored, and a blocked number is hard to restore. Send only to those who have been in contact or agreed, and check the platform's current rules on business messaging. Ask the person before adding them to any list.

What we do

What we deliver for road construction contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile for the firm

Name, work types, districts, and a short description a project manager can read in one glance. Your team keeps it current as certificates arrive.

Result: The profile explains the firm before anyone asks.

  2. Saved replies for the common questions

Plant list, crew availability, finished stretches and quotation requests, each ready to send. Your own engineer checks the wording before it is used.

Result: Common questions are answered in the same clear words.

  3. A credentials PDF built for forwarding

One file holding the key credentials in the order a department or main contractor reads them.

Result: A forwarded file carries the whole case.

  4. A contact list with consent

Project managers, developers and estate secretaries who have been in touch, grouped by type.

Result: Updates go only to people who expect them.

  5. A handler rota and response rule

Who answers on which days, and what happens when that person is on site.

Result: Messages do not sit unanswered over a weekend.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use broadcasts?
Sparingly, and only to people who have contacted you or agreed. A single useful note, such as your plant availability, is better than a regular flood. Each message should give the reader a reason to have been sent it.
Is the WhatsApp Business app enough?
For a small firm, yes. Larger volumes may need the business platform, which has its own rules. Check the platform's current terms before committing. A shared handset in the office also works while volumes are low.
Can we send tender documents over WhatsApp?
For your own credentials, yes. Official bid submissions follow the portal and the tender conditions, never a chat message. Keep a copy of what you sent in the enquiry record.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
