Road construction contractors · Digital marketing

Join the channels that reach a department, a developer and a project manager.

Digital marketing for a road contractor is choosing which online channels reach each of your three buyers and leaving the rest. GullySales works on that choice and on the pages, messages and records that go with it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Paving and road construction companies: show a real physical business scene illustrating Tenders and estimates. Price jobs by area, depth, tonne and length from your own material, plant and labour rates, and keep each revision and tender result.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For road construction contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A department is not reached by an advert”

Public work is awarded by conditions and rates. Advertising does little for it. Online effort for tenders goes into the file, the notice routine and the firm's record, not into reach. Record the source of every enquiry in the sheet your clerk already keeps.

  • “Private work responds to search”

A layout developer or industrial estate looking for internal roads searches the work and the town. A search campaign aimed at those words, landing on a page with finished layouts, meets the buyer at the moment of need. Add a stop rule if the enquiries do not fit your plant.

  • “Main contractors respond to introductions”

LinkedIn and email put your plant and crew list in front of project managers who have just won. This is closer to sales outreach than to advertising, and it works when each message is specific to the package. Mention the package by name and the stretch you can take.

  • “Every channel should end at the same page”

An advert, a LinkedIn note and a WhatsApp reply each send a visitor somewhere. If that place is a thin home page, the effort is wasted. One strong projects page behind every channel does the final work. Test the page on a phone, since site people read there.

What we do

What we deliver for road construction contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan by buyer type

For each of department, main contractor and private developer, the channels that reach them and the ones to skip. Your team keeps it current as certificates arrive.

Result: Spending goes only where a buyer is found.

  2. A landing page for private road work

A page with finished layouts and a quotation form asking for area and location. Your own engineer checks the wording before it is used.

Result: An enquiry arrives with the details a quotation needs.

  3. A main-contractor outreach list and note

Named firms and project managers with a note matched to each.

Result: Outreach is specific, not generic.

  4. A small search campaign for estate and layout roads

Search ads for internal road work in your districts, with a stop rule if enquiries do not fit.

Result: Spend is tied to enquiries you can serve.

  5. One sheet joining every channel to enquiries

    Source recorded on each lead.

Result: You see which channel produced work, not just clicks.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small contractor start?
With the projects page and the credentials pack. Channels work only when there is something worth reading at the end of them. Add channels one at a time and watch the enquiry sheet.
How much should we spend?
Set it after the first enquiry sheet shows which sources produce work. We do not suggest a figure before that. We would rather size spend from observed enquiries than from a guess.
Can digital replace our relationships with engineers?
No. It supports them. A department engineer who knows your work will check you online, and what they find should match what they remember. Make sure both tell the same story about the same roads.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
