Building material dealers · Search engine optimisation

Own the search a house owner makes when the mestri asks for blocks.

Search engine optimisation for a building material dealer means being the yard that comes up for a material and a locality, such as AAC blocks or M-sand near a site. GullySales writes a page for each product you stock in quantity and puts the delivery area, the brands and the load size on it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For building material dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The owner searches, the contractor rings”

A mestri already has four numbers saved. It is the house owner, checking a rate before he agrees, who types it into a phone.

  • “Product and locality, in that order”

Searches read like M-sand in Yelahanka or 53 grade cement rate. A page called products answers neither of them.

  • “Nobody buys a lorry load from a stock photo”

A page showing your own yard, the stack and the lorry tells a buyer you hold material. A stock image says you might be a broker.

What we do

What we deliver for building material dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each material you hold in quantity

Cement by brand and grade, TMT by size, AAC and solid blocks, M-sand, aggregates and waterproofing chemicals, each with brands stocked and the load sizes you deliver.

Result: A search for the material finds your yard instead of a directory.

  2. Delivery area written into the product pages

The localities and layouts each lorry covers, with the usual delivery time, put on the page rather than left for the phone call.

Result: Enquiries arrive from sites you can actually reach.

  3. Photographs of your own stack and lorries

Pictures of the yard, the stacked blocks, the tinting counter and a loaded lorry, taken on a working day and dated so they stay current.

Result: A buyer can see there is material behind the phone number.

  4. A page for the questions asked before an order

How many bags a slab needs, what a steel test certificate shows, and what changes between block sizes, written for an owner who is about to buy.

Result: The owner reads your page and rings your number.

  5. Search enquiries counted by material

Calls and messages traced to the page they came from, read against the baseline taken before work started, material by material.

Result: You learn which product actually brings new sites.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches house owners type

What a house owner or mestri types before buying material, and the page that answers it.

AAC blocks price near me
A product page. List the brands, block sizes, load per lorry, the delivery area and whether unloading is included. Say how a rate is confirmed, by WhatsApp or call, and the date it applies.
TMT steel 12mm Fe500D dealer
A steel page by grade. Name the brands, the grades and diameters you hold, the test certificate and the basis of sale. A builder checking bars looks for the grade first.
M-sand vs river sand for plastering
An explainer. Say what each is, which one you stock and the quarry it comes from. Give your honest advice for plastering and for blockwork, since owners ask the mestri and the dealer.
ready mix concrete M25 supplier
A concrete page. State the grades available, the plant location, pump availability and the minimum quantity. Add what the site must prepare before a truck arrives.
waterproofing for terrace in monsoon
A waterproofing page. Name the products you stock, how they are applied and which applicators you can suggest. Be clear that the warranty comes from the product maker and applicator.
tile adhesive for vitrified tiles
A product page by use. Say which adhesive suits floors, walls and large tiles, and list the pack sizes. It reaches the tile contractor before the next order.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do contractors ever look at a dealer's website?
Rarely for a rate, sometimes before the first order from a new yard. The site is really for the owner and the engineer who are deciding whether to trust you with a lorry load.
Should we publish rates on the site?
Publish the brands, grades and load sizes, and keep the rate on WhatsApp where it changes. A rate page that is a week old costs you the call you wanted.
Should contractors and house owners get separate pages?
Yes, where the questions differ. An owner wants to know what to buy and how it will arrive. A contractor wants to know the rate, the credit terms and the delivery slot. Keep a short page for each and link them.
Do we need a blog about house construction?
Only if you can answer real questions: how much sand per room, what to check on arrival. Short answers under each product page serve better than a general blog and are easier to keep up to date.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
