Curtain stores · Local SEO

Show up on the map for the streets where windows are waiting to be measured.

Local SEO for a curtain store is the work on your map listing and local pages so that a buyer in your part of the city finds you when they search for curtains or blinds near them. GullySales works on the listing, the service area and the review flow behind that result.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For curtain stores

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The service area is where you will drive, not where the shop stands”

A curtain store serves the buyer at the window. If the fitter will travel across the city, the listing should say where, otherwise a flat in a new project two roads away never sees you.

  • “New apartments are the map's blind spot”

Residents of a fresh project search for curtains near their own tower, which the map may not know yet. Local pages naming the projects and localities you serve close that gap between the listing and the new neighbourhood.

  • “Reviews that name stitching and fitting count for more”

A review saying nice shop says little. One that mentions the fitter arriving on time, the pleats hanging straight and the track fixed to the ceiling speaks to the buyer's real fear, and it reads well beside the two other shops in the pack.

  • “The shop floor and the home visit are different promises”

Some buyers walk in, others want the visit. A listing that shows only a showroom hides the home measurement service, which is the thing that wins the order, so the profile must say it in plain words.

What we do

What we deliver for curtain stores.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A service area set to the roads you fit on

The localities and projects you serve entered on the profile, based on where your fitters have actually gone.

Result: The listing matches the areas on your fitting records.

  2. Photographs of fitted rooms on the profile

Finished-room images with the shop front and the swatch wall, so the profile shows work and not only a signboard.

Result: The profile carries work you did in homes.

  3. A review ask at the fitting

A short request made on the day of fitting, with the link ready on a phone or a card, asking the buyer to mention the fabric and the fitter.

Result: Recent reviews that describe the fitting.

  4. Locality pages for the projects you serve

One page for each part of the city or large project, with finished rooms from there and the measurement visit offered.

Result: A buyer in a new project finds a page about their own neighbourhood.

  5. Profile services and hours checked

Curtains, blinds, tracks, motorised curtains and home measurement listed as services, with festival-week hours set.

Result: The listing is open and accurate when the buyer searches.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a shop on the high street to show on the map?
The map favours places a buyer can reach. A shop gives the listing an address and photographs. If you work from a godown or studio, say so on the profile and set the service area honestly. Check the platform's current rules.
Should every branch have its own listing?
Yes, with its own address, photographs and area, otherwise two branches compete for the same result. Keep the name and phone line consistent so the buyer sees one trusted shop.
What do we do about an unfair review?
Reply politely, state the facts and offer to put it right offline. A calm public reply reads well to the next buyer. Do not offer gifts for reviews, and check the platform's current rules on how to ask.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
