Building material dealers · Website

Give the owner searching for M-sand or AAC blocks a page that answers before they call.

A website for a building material dealer is a small set of pages that list what the yard stocks, where it delivers and how to place an order. GullySales works on pages built around the product names buyers search, with a phone and WhatsApp route that your counter answers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For building material dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search the material, not the shop”

Someone building a house types M-sand, AAC blocks or TMT bars and the town. A site with one page called Products gives that search nothing to match. A page per material, with grades and brands stated, gives it the exact words.

  • “A website cannot quote a rate that moves”

Cement and steel prices change, and a stale number on a page damages trust. Better to say what the yard stocks and invite a message for today's rate than to publish a figure that is already wrong.

  • “The delivery area is the first question”

A buyer outside your delivery reach will never become an order, and a buyer inside it needs to know. A page stating which localities you serve, and the minimum load where it applies, saves calls on both sides.

  • “Trust is built with the real yard”

Photographs of your stock, the trucks and the counter, plus the GST details a builder needs, tell a contractor the yard is real. Stock images of cement bags tell nothing and look like every other site.

What we do

What we deliver for building material dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each material you stock

Separate pages for cement, steel, blocks, sand, paint and the rest, with brands, grades and uses in plain words.

Result: Searches for a specific material can land on a matching page.

  2. A delivery area and order page

The localities served, how to order by phone or WhatsApp, and what to send with an order so it can be quoted.

Result: Buyers know in one look whether you can serve the site.

  3. A click-to-WhatsApp route

A button on every page that opens a chat with the product and site already mentioned.

Result: An enquiry reaches your counter with the detail needed to quote.

  4. Photographs of the real yard

Pictures of stock, the loading bay and the tinting counter, taken at your premises and described on the page.

Result: A first-time buyer sees an actual yard.

  5. Builder and contractor details

A section covering GST invoicing, credit accounts and test certificates for steel, written for project buyers.

Result: A builder finds the answers procurement asks for.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Each page answers a material, a locality or a grade a buyer types before calling.

A steel page with brands, sizes and grades, load sizes and a prompt to ask for today's rate on chat.

A page stating the grades of sand, load size and the sites served, written so an owner sees what suits plaster and what suits blockwork.
cement dealer for house construction
A cement page by brand and grade with a short note on storage on site, linking to the ordering instructions.
waterproofing material for terrace
A page for chemicals and membranes in stock, with a plain note on when to apply before the rains.
paint shop with tinting machine

Who it is for

This is written for these building material dealers.

  • Cement and TMT steel dealers
  • Sand, aggregate and M-sand suppliers
  • Brick, block and AAC block dealers
  • Ready-mix concrete suppliers and agents
  • Paint retailers with tinting counters
  • Hardware and construction products retail stores
  • Plumbing, waterproofing and roofing material dealers
  • Multi-category building material yards

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have not decided which materials you hold in quantity, so pages would list everything and answer nothing.
  • Nobody checks messages from the site form, so enquiries would wait while the buyer calls the next yard.
  • You want the site to publish rates that change through the day, which would go stale and lose buyers.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does a building material dealer need a website at all?
If owners and engineers search online before calling, yes. A Maps listing brings the walk-in, and a site with a page per material catches the buyer who searches for a specific product and compares yards.
Should we show prices on the site?
Show what you stock and invite a message for today's rate. Rates for cement and steel change, and a stale price loses the buyer. A WhatsApp route gets the current figure to them.
Can we sell online?
Selling building material online adds delivery, stock and payment questions that suit few local yards. We start with enquiries and quotes, and add ordering only if your volume supports it.
Can a dealer's site show a delivery area it can't always serve?
State the localities the lorry serves in the normal course and say that others depend on load and day. The reason is that an owner outside the area who calls and is refused leaves with a worse view of the yard than silence would give.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
