Fitness equipment dealers · Lead generation

Find the home buyer and the new gym owner before a marketplace does.

Lead generation for a fitness equipment dealer means bringing in two different buyers: the family choosing a treadmill and the owner fitting out a gym. GullySales works on the enquiry sources, the questions asked at first contact and the record that tells you which source produced a real quote.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For fitness equipment dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A home enquiry and a gym enquiry are different leads”

A person asking about a cross trainer for a flat wants a demonstration, a price and a delivery date. An owner asking about a full floor of machines wants a site visit and a quote. One form and one reply for both loses the larger order.

  • “The showroom produces leads that never get written down”

A family tries a machine, says they will decide at home and walks out. Without a name and a number taken at the counter, a visit that was a genuine enquiry disappears.

  • “New gyms announce themselves before they buy”

A gym that is being fitted out shows up as a lease, a signboard, a social page or a consultant's drawing. A dealer who watches for these meets the owner while the equipment list is still open.

  • “Brand names pull enquiries you cannot serve”

Buyers search for a brand and land on a dealer who does not stock it. Pages that say plainly what you carry send the right enquiry to the counter and the wrong one elsewhere.

What we do

What we deliver for fitness equipment dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Separate enquiry paths for homes and gyms

Two short forms and two first replies, one built around demonstration and delivery, the other around a site visit and a quote.

Result: You can see at a glance which enquiries are home buyers and which are gym projects.

  2. A showroom capture routine

A simple way to take a name, number, machine tried and budget range from every visitor, and a follow-up message the same day.

Result: Every visitor who showed interest is on your list, not in memory.

  3. A new gym watch list

A routine for noting new gyms, hotel fitness rooms and society clubhouses in your area, and a first introduction for each.

Result: The owner hears from you before the equipment list is closed.

  4. Stock and brand pages

Pages for each brand and machine type you carry, with what you stock and what you order on request.

Result: Searchers find a dealer who actually sells what they came for.

  5. Source tracking on every enquiry

A field recording where each enquiry came from, kept in the same sheet or CRM as the quote.

Result: You know which source produced quotes and orders, not only calls.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

What to record when someone asks about a treadmill or a gym setup.

Home or gym enquiry
A mark on the first line of the record. A home buyer wants a trial and a delivery date, a gym owner wants a layout and a quote, and the reply must be chosen at once.
Room size and floor
For a home buyer, the room, the floor and whether there is a lift. A treadmill that cannot be carried up the stairs is a lost sale, so ask before quoting.
Machine or brand asked by name
The model the buyer has seen on a marketplace. Write it down, because the question tells you whether to offer a comparable machine you stock or explain the service you give.
Gym floor area and member plan
For a new gym, the floor area, the planned member base and the opening date. It shows whether the order is a few machines or a full setup.
Showroom visit or phone
How the lead arrived. Showroom visitors who leave without a quote are the leads that get lost, and this field makes the owner see them.

Who it is for

This is written for these fitness equipment dealers.

  • Home fitness equipment dealers
  • Commercial gym equipment suppliers
  • Multi-brand fitness stores
  • Importers and distributors of fitness machines
  • Second-hand and refurbished equipment dealers
  • Suppliers for hotels, societies and institutions

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Nobody in the showroom can write a name against a visit, so extra enquiries would arrive and vanish into notebooks
  • You stock only a few brands and cannot serve buyers who ask for a brand by name, so more enquiries would end in refusals
  • The team cannot quote a full gym setup, and a commercial lead would go to a dealer who can

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we chase every enquiry equally?
No. A gym project and a single home machine need different effort. Mark the type at the first reply, then spend site-visit time where the order is large and the buyer is real.
How do we count a showroom visit as a lead?
Count it once a name and number are noted. Until then it is footfall. The capture routine is what turns the visit into a lead you can follow up and measure.
Do you promise a number of leads?
No. We work on the sources, the capture and the tracking. How many enquiries arrive depends on your market, stock and price, and we do not promise a count.
How does the cost of delivery and installation change how we handle a lead?
A heavy machine needs a vehicle, a lift or stair route, and a fitter, so these must be asked before a quote is sent. A lead who has no way to carry a machine into the room is not ready to buy. Record the access details at the first call.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
