Furniture stores and retailers · Influencer marketing

Let a real home show how the furniture actually looks lived in.

Influencer marketing for a furniture store means a home creator styling a piece in their own space, answering how it looks once it leaves the showroom. GullySales finds the creator, briefs the room and negotiates the terms in writing.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What influencer marketing means

Influencer marketing means paying or partnering with local personalities and creators to talk about your business to their own audience. It works well where trust is built by a familiar face rather than an advert. GullySales finds creators whose audience matches your buyers and manages the brief and payment terms.

For furniture stores and retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Home creators outperform broader accounts”

A smaller creator known for home styling brings a more relevant, furniture-ready audience.

  • “The brief asks for the room, not just the piece”

A clip showing a sofa placed and lived with convinces more than one filmed in the showroom.

  • “Local creators help with delivery content”

A creator in the same city can show the actual delivery and assembly, which reassures nearby buyers.

What we do

What we deliver for furniture stores and retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Home creator shortlist

A shortlist of home styling creators checked for a relevant, furniture-ready audience, not just follower counts.

Result: Content reaches people already interested in furnishing a home.

  2. Room-focused creative brief

A brief asking for the piece styled and lived in at home, not filmed inside the showroom.

Result: A viewer sees how the piece actually looks once delivered.

  3. Local delivery and assembly content

Coordination with a local creator to show a real delivery and assembly, reassuring nearby buyers.

Result: A nearby buyer sees exactly what to expect on delivery day.

  4. Written terms for every collaboration

A written agreement confirming payment, whether in product or cash, and deliverables for each creator before work begins.

Result: The collaboration is confirmed in writing, with nothing left to assume.

How the result is measured

  • Reach per creator
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries traced to a creator

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who to work with

Pick creators who show your sofa or wardrobe in a real room, not a studio.

Home creators in your city
Choose creators whose flats look like your customers' flats, in the same price range. A single clean room tour of a two-bedroom flat serves better than a mansion tour.
Interior designers and stylists
A designer who specifies for clients can show how your pieces work in a plan. Agree what the designer may say about price and delivery.
The brief with dimensions
Give the model name, fabric or finish and the exact size, so the creator can show it beside a door or a bed. Ask them to say where the piece fits and where it does not.
A real delivery on camera
Offer to film the delivery and assembly at a customer's home with their permission. Viewers fear damage and missing screws, and this shows them how you handle both.
A link and a price check
Ask the creator to add your showroom location, and quote only the price you can honour that day. A viewer who arrives and finds a different price will not trust you.
Who not to use
Skip creators who rent a staged apartment or work in a very different style. Their audience will not buy a recliner from you.

Who it is for

This is written for these furniture stores and retailers.

  • Modular kitchen and interior furniture retailers
  • Sofa and living room furniture stores
  • Bedroom and mattress retailers
  • Office furniture suppliers
  • Outdoor and garden furniture retailers
  • Custom carpentry and made-to-order furniture makers
  • Multi-brand furniture showrooms
  • Online-first furniture retailers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You cannot supply a piece for a real home, so a creator would be left to use a showroom set.
  • You expect a creator to guarantee sales, which no collaboration can promise.

How it works

How the influencer marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Define who needs to see it

We settle the buyer, the city and the language first. That decides which creators are worth approaching at all.

  2. 2

    Audit the creators

We ask for audience screenshots from the creator's own account, read the comments, and look at earlier sponsored posts to see how the audience reacted.

  3. 3

    Agree terms and brief

Fee, instalments, dates, exclusivity and paid-media rights go into one written agreement before any filming. The brief carries facts and limits, not a script.

  4. 4

    Review the draft

We check prices, claims and disclosure on the draft. Edits are about accuracy, not about changing the creator's style.

  5. 5

    Publish and trace

Posts go live on the agreed dates. Enquiries are matched to each creator's code or link and reported against the fee paid, in the format agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we choose a creator?
We check whether their content already covers home styling, not just their follower count.
Do we pay in product or cash?
Either, depending on the creator and the piece; terms are agreed and confirmed in writing first.
Can I put the creator's room photos in my showroom and on my ads?
Only if the agreement allows it. Write where you may use them, for how long and whether the creator is credited. Ask for edited and unedited clips, and be sure you have permission for any person or furniture of another brand in the shot.
How do I check a home creator's followers are real?
Read the comments and ask the creator for a screenshot of audience cities and age. Real followers ask for dimensions, price and where to buy. A large following with generic comments and sudden jumps in followers is a sign to walk away.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
