Furniture stores and retailers · Website

Let a customer browse by room and enquire without visiting first.

A furniture store website organises products by room, shows real styled photography, and makes enquiring or booking a showroom visit simple. GullySales builds sites around your own room sets and hands over a simple way to update products and pricing.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For furniture stores and retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Browsing is organised by room, not category”

A page for a specific room set groups the pieces a customer would actually buy together.

  • “Delivery timelines are stated clearly upfront”

A customer comparing stores checks delivery time as closely as price, so it should not require an enquiry to find out.

  • “A booking option sits alongside enquiries”

Some customers prefer to book a visit directly rather than message first, so the site offers both.

What we do

What we deliver for furniture stores and retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Room-organised browsing structure

Product pages grouped by room set, such as a specific living room or bedroom set, rather than by generic category.

Result: A customer finds the pieces they pictured together on one page.

  2. Upfront delivery timeline display

Delivery timelines stated clearly on the page itself, since customers compare this as closely as price.

Result: A comparing customer gets the delivery answer without asking first.

  3. Showroom visit booking option

A direct booking option for a showroom visit, alongside the usual enquiry form.

Result: A customer ready to visit can book without messaging first.

  4. Simple product and price update handover

A simple system handed over so your own team can update products and pricing after launch.

Result: The website stays current without depending on outside help for small changes.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the page must show

What a furniture store's website must show before a customer visits the showroom.

Dimensions that let a customer check the room
Give length, depth, height and seat height for each sofa, bed or table, and a line drawing or a photograph with a person for scale. A buyer measures a wall before travelling to see it.
Material, foam and fabric in plain words
Say whether the frame is solid wood or engineered board, name the foam density grade as the maker states it and the fabric type. Buyers who have been burnt by sagging seats look for it.
Every piece in a room set, with its own price
List each item in a styled room with its price beside it, plus the price for the whole set. Customers buy rooms, and they want to see the total before they enter.
Assembly, stairs and old-furniture removal
State whether delivery includes carrying up the stairs, assembly and taking away the old piece. These small questions decide a purchase in a flat on the fourth floor.
Brand warranty and the store's own promise
Say what the maker's warranty covers and what the store adds, such as service visits. Say who the customer calls when something goes wrong.
What is on the showroom floor and what is ordered
Mark each product as on display or on order, and give the floor, parking and hours. A customer should not drive across town to find the piece is only in a catalogue.

Who it is for

This is written for these furniture stores and retailers.

  • Modular kitchen and interior furniture retailers
  • Sofa and living room furniture stores
  • Bedroom and mattress retailers
  • Office furniture suppliers
  • Outdoor and garden furniture retailers
  • Custom carpentry and made-to-order furniture makers
  • Multi-brand furniture showrooms
  • Online-first furniture retailers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You list products you do not hold and cannot say which are on the floor, so the site would mislead.
  • Prices change and no one can update them, so the site would show stale figures.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What has to be on the page for a sofa?
Dimensions, fabric options, delivery time and a price or a band. The buyer measures the wall before visiting, and a page without those numbers sends the buyer to the showroom whose page has them.
Who updates the site after launch?
We hand over a simple way to update products and pricing, and remain available for anything larger.
What should a mattress page say?
Give the size in feet or centimetres, the layers and material, the firmness as the brand rates it and the trial and warranty terms. Say whether it can be tried in the showroom. Do not claim health benefits you cannot support.
Should we list items we only order on request?
Yes, if you mark them clearly as made or ordered on request, with the usual wait and an advance amount. Do not let them look like stock. A customer who finds the piece is not in the showroom, after travelling, will not come back.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
