Tile, flooring and bathware dealers · WhatsApp marketing

Photos of the chosen tile travel on WhatsApp long after the family leaves.

WhatsApp marketing for a tile and bathware showroom is the use of one business number to answer enquiries, send quotations and photographs, and keep in touch with families, masons and designers. GullySales works on setting up that number so every chat is recorded and every promise on it can be found again.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For tile, flooring and bathware dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The family forwards your quote to the mason and the relatives”

A quotation sent on WhatsApp is shared in family groups and with the mason within minutes. Its layout, completeness and your name on it do the selling in rooms where you are not present.

  • “Tile choice is visual, so photographs are the product”

A buyer asks for the same tile in another shade, a bathroom set photographed on a wall or a close-up of the finish. A salesperson with a phone full of unlabelled photos cannot answer fast, and the buyer asks the next dealer.

  • “Personal numbers walk out with the salesperson”

When a salesperson leaves, the chats with every family and mason leave too. A shared business number keeps the history with the showroom, not with a person.

  • “Broadcasts to masons and designers go wrong when everything is an offer”

A trade contact who receives only discount messages stops reading. A new arrival, a restock of a popular range or a sample note keeps the channel worth opening.

What we do

What we deliver for tile, flooring and bathware dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business account with a clear profile

Showroom name, address, hours, brands stocked and a catalogue of the main ranges set up in the business app, with a short welcome reply for new chats.

Result: A new enquirer sees a showroom, not an unknown number.

  2. A catalogue of tiles, sanitaryware and flooring with names

Products grouped by room and finish, with consistent photographs and the code you quote from.

Result: A buyer can ask for a tile by name and get the right photo.

  3. Quotation template for sharing

A clean message or PDF layout listing area, tile, wastage, skirting, adhesive and fittings for each room.

Result: The quote that gets forwarded to the family reads as complete.

  4. Separate lists for families, trades and builders

Broadcast groups kept apart, with opt-in noted at the counter and an easy way to leave.

Result: Each audience gets messages meant for it.

  5. Rules for who answers and how chats are logged

A short guide to who replies, which chats move into the visitor record and what is never promised on chat.

Result: Nothing agreed on WhatsApp is lost when staff change.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

The messages a tile showroom sends and receives on WhatsApp.

Photograph of the shortlisted tile
The salesperson sends the tile with its name, size and finish in the caption. The family forwards it to the mason, so the caption must stand alone.
Room-by-room quotation
A message with the quote for each room, wastage shown and the delivery terms. Saved to the record so the same figures appear on every copy.
Lot and shade photograph
A picture of the reserved lot sent before delivery for the family to approve. Record the reply, as it settles any shade dispute later.
Delivery and site message
A note to the mason and the family with the lorry's expected arrival and the unloading point. Sent only to those on the job.
Opt-in trade list message
A message to masons and designers who asked for it about new arrivals. Add a line to stop messages, and check the platform's current rules.

Who it is for

This is written for these tile, flooring and bathware dealers.

  • Multi-brand tile and sanitaryware showrooms
  • Single-brand exclusive tile galleries
  • Bathware, CP fittings and bath accessories dealers
  • Wooden, laminate and vinyl flooring retailers
  • Granite, marble and natural stone dealers
  • Tile distributors supplying builders and sub-dealers
  • Premium imported tile and bathroom studios
  • Flooring retail and installation businesses

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The showroom number is one salesperson's personal phone, and a chat would be lost when that person leaves.
  • You wish to send an offer to every number in an old contact book, and few have agreed to receive it.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we use WhatsApp for sending offers to many people at once?
Use it for people who agreed to hear from you, and keep messages useful: new arrivals, restocks, event invitations. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging before any broadcast, and give a plain way to opt out.
Is the free WhatsApp Business app enough?
For a single showroom, yes, to begin with. It gives a profile, a catalogue, quick replies and labels. A larger team that needs shared inboxes or automated replies may need the business platform, and we help judge when.
Can we take orders and payments on WhatsApp?
A quote confirmation and a token advance can be agreed on chat. Keep the written quotation and the payment record in your own system, and do not rely on the chat as the only proof of what was ordered.
Can we send a tile's price on WhatsApp?
Send a written quotation with the quantity and terms, not a bare rate. A rate without wastage and delivery gets compared to a lower, incomplete figure elsewhere. The quote also shows who agreed what, if the lot or quantity is disputed.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
