Accounting software providers · Website

Show a bill from the buyer's own trade on the first screen.

A website for an accounting software provider is the set of pages where a shopkeeper, a munim or a CA checks that the product fits the trade, the old data can move and someone will answer the phone. GullySales works on the page structure, the proof and the trial path.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For accounting software providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The homepage serves one buyer too many”

A page that welcomes startups, enterprises, CAs and shops tells none of them they are in the right place. A trade selector near the top sends a pharmacist and a contractor to different pages.

  • “Pricing opacity loses small buyers”

A shopkeeper who sees contact us for pricing leaves for a product that lists a plan. If prices depend on users or branches, show the basis in words so the buyer can estimate.

  • “The trial path needs fewer steps”

Every field before the download costs trials. Ask for name and number, and ask for trade and role after the install, inside the product or in the first message.

  • “Trust items sit at the bottom”

Support hours, how data is stored, who answers the phone and what a migration involves are what a nervous owner scans for. Put them where the eye lands after the trade sample.

What we do

What we deliver for accounting software providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Trade pages with sample bills

One page per trade with the bill, the stock or ledger view and the trial link.

Result: Each trade page shows its own screen.

  2. A migration section

What moves from Tally, Busy and Excel, with the check list and who does the work.

Result: A clear page for each older product.

  3. A pricing page in plain words

Plans with the basis of each plan stated, as agreed by your team.

Result: A buyer can work out a rough cost alone.

  4. A support and data page

Support hours, language options, backup arrangements and data location, written plainly.

Result: The page answers the safety question.

  5. A short trial form

Minimum fields, a clear next step and a confirmation message that names it.

Result: The form asks only what the first step needs.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these accounting software providers.

  • Desktop accounting software vendors competing with Tally and Busy
  • Cloud accounting and GST billing apps for small businesses
  • Billing software for pharmacies, grocery and retail counters
  • Accounting products for wholesalers, traders and distributors
  • Software for contractors, builders and project businesses
  • Products built for CAs managing many client books
  • Dealer and reseller networks selling a single accounting product
  • E-invoicing and GST filing tool vendors

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your pricing is still changing, so a price page would be rewritten before it was read.
  • You have no sample bills for any one trade, so the first screen would show a generic dashboard that fits nobody.
  • Your trial form is the real problem and still takes a long list of fields, so new pages would only send people to a wall.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should the site be in Kannada or Hindi as well?
For markets where owners work in those languages, yes, for the trial path and the help videos first. Add depth as you find which pages are read.
Do we need a blog on the website?
If it holds the guides your buyers search for, yes, placed under the trade pages. A blog of company news does not bring trials.
How do we show security without technical claims?
State where data is stored, how backups run and who can see it, in everyday words. Do not claim certificates you do not hold.
How do we show a security promise without making claims?
State what you do, not what you guarantee. Say where backups are kept, who in your team can open a customer's data, and how a shop exports its books. A buyer trusts plain facts about the system more than a badge, and the facts can be checked.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step
