Mobile app development companies · Digital marketing

Decide which channels bring app briefs and put your effort there.

Digital marketing for an app studio is the combined work of search, content, directories, social posts, messaging and follow-up that brings buyers to a scoping call. GullySales starts with the channels where your past clients actually came from and builds the plan around them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For mobile app development companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Every channel claims to be the answer”

A consultant recommends ads, an agency recommends LinkedIn and a friend swears by directories. Without a record of where signed clients came from, the studio spends on whichever voice is loudest.

  • “A studio sells to people who buy once”

An app build is rarely repeated by the same client for several years. That makes referrals, reviews and maintenance contracts more valuable than chasing one-off traffic, and the plan should reflect it.

  • “Paid ads attract the wrong brief”

Ads for app development bring in students, freelancers comparing prices and people with no budget. Spend works only when a tight page and a qualifying question sit behind it.

  • “The pieces work alone and not together”

A good case page, a quiet profile, a slow WhatsApp reply and a missing follow-up each waste what the others earn. The plan has to treat the path from search to signed contract as one line.

What we do

What we deliver for mobile app development companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel review based on signed clients

A table of every client from the past year, showing how they found you and what they signed.

Result: A written view of which channels produced signed work, not just enquiries.

  2. A simple plan with a few channels

Two or three channels chosen from the review, each with an owner, a purpose and a way of counting briefs.

Result: The plan fits one page, with an owner against each channel.

  3. A path from search to scoping call

Pages, forms, WhatsApp openers and follow-ups joined into one route, with each step checked for drop-off.

Result: You can trace one enquiry from first visit to a booked call.

  4. A test budget for paid channels

A small, defined spend on one kind of app, judged by scoping calls and not by clicks.

Result: Each paid test ends with a recorded result.

  5. A record of what the team did

A running list of changes to pages, profiles and messages, dated, so effects can be traced.

Result: You can see which change came before which pattern.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Pick the channels by where an app buyer looks, and drop the rest.

app development company for startups
A buyer searching by company type. A page for startups, with your MVP method and a case, is the answer.
[city] mobile app developers
A local owner's search. A page about the studio, its address and its recent apps serves it better than a city list.
hire app developers India
An overseas buyer's search. A page on working with international clients, covering time zones and payment, speaks to them.
app development cost India
A common early search. A guide that explains what shapes cost, with no figure, builds trust and invites the call.
app agency portfolio reviews
A buyer comparing studios. A case page and a reviews page, with permission, are what they look for.
LinkedIn app developers
A buyer who checks people, not pages. The founder's profile with real apps and posts carries more weight than the company page.

Who it is for

This is written for these mobile app development companies.

  • First-time founders building a consumer app with a small seed budget
  • Restaurants, salons and retail chains wanting their own ordering or loyalty app
  • Clinics and diagnostic chains wanting a booking and report-delivery app
  • Schools and coaching institutes wanting a parent and student app
  • Logistics and field-service companies needing an app for drivers and technicians
  • Startups needing an MVP before a funding conversation
  • Companies replacing an app a previous vendor abandoned
  • Overseas clients outsourcing app builds to an Indian studio

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no case page or portfolio, so any channel would send buyers to a site with nothing to prove.
  • Ads would bring briefs the sales team has no hour to answer, and unanswered briefs do harm.
  • You cannot yet say which kind of app you build best, and a broad plan would reach nobody in particular.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What should we do first?
Fix the proof and the first reply. A case page with a store link and a WhatsApp opener that asks about users cost little and improve every channel after them.
Do we need an agency to run this?
Not necessarily. A studio can run its own plan if someone owns it. GullySales can build the plan, the pages and the tracking and hand them back to your team.
How do we judge whether marketing is working?
By briefs that reach a scoping call and proposals signed, tied to their source. Visits and followers show activity, but only a signed proposal pays for the work.
What if we cannot afford several channels at once?
Pick the one where the buyers you want already look. Do it well, with a case page behind it. Adding channels later is easier than repairing a thin spread.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
