POS software providers · Digital marketing

Put the search, the dealer and the callback into one plan.

Digital marketing for a POS software provider joins search, ads, WhatsApp, video and the dealer network into one plan aimed at shop owners in particular trades and cities. GullySales works on choosing the mix, the order, and the measures that show which part brings paying licences.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For POS software providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Digital supports a sale that closes at the counter”

The owner may find you online, speak to a dealer, then sign at the shop. A plan judged only by website forms undervalues the online work that started the conversation the dealer finished.

  • “Spend belongs where a trade is strong”

Money spread across every trade and city buys little anywhere. Concentrate on the trades where your screens fit and where a dealer is ready to visit, then widen once those work.

  • “Search ads catch the owner with a trigger”

Someone typing restaurant billing software after a printer failure is close to a decision. Ads on those exact phrases, sent to the trade page, reach the owner at the right moment and cost nothing on idle browsing.

  • “Online work is wasted if the callback is slow”

An advertisement that brings an enquiry at lunch rush, answered the next day, has spent money to give a competitor the sale. The plan includes the people and routine that answer.

What we do

What we deliver for POS software providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan by trade and city

A written plan naming, for each trade and city, the channels used and the reason for each choice.

Result: The team knows why money goes where it does.

  2. Search ad campaigns by trade

Ad groups built on trade phrases, each pointing to the matching trade page and tracked to enquiries.

Result: Each ad leads to a page for its own trade.

  3. Dealer-ready digital kit

Clips, messages and a listing guide that dealers use under their own name.

Result: Dealers share the same material in every city.

  4. Tracking from click to licence

Tags on pages, forms and WhatsApp links, plus a field in the CRM that records the source of each paid licence.

Result: You can trace a licence back to its source.

  5. Budget review by trade

A comparison of spend and paid licences for each trade, so money moves toward what works.

Result: Spending follows results, not habit.

  6. Plan for the next trade

A short note on which trade to add next and what is needed before it is ready.

Result: Expansion follows evidence from the first trades.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

These searches and routes belong in one plan from click to licence.

restaurant billing software after printer failure
A trigger search. A paid search ad on this phrase, sent to the restaurant page, reaches the owner close to deciding.
billing software for [trade] price
A price-minded search. A trade page stating what the price covers, with a demo request, sorts fit from curious.
switch from free billing app
A comparison route. A switching guide plus a trial offer meets the owner who has outgrown the free option.
billing software reseller opportunity
A dealer-side search. A dealer page with margin terms and an install kit answers it and feeds the channel.
[trade] POS demo in [city]
A local, near-decision search. A city page with a named dealer and a booking line turns it into a visit.

Who it is for

This is written for these POS software providers.

  • Retail shop billing and inventory software
  • Restaurant, cafe and cloud kitchen POS
  • Pharmacy billing with batch and expiry tracking
  • Salon, spa and clinic appointment and billing software
  • Supermarket and grocery POS with weighing scale support
  • Multi-store and franchise POS with central reporting
  • Mobile and electronics shop billing with serial number tracking
  • Garment and footwear POS with size and colour variants

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your dealer in the target city cannot visit within the working week, so paid clicks would produce demos nobody delivers.
  • You cannot trace a licence back to a click, so spend could not be judged by what it sold.
  • You would run the same plan for every trade, which spreads budget where your screens do not yet fit.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the one aim

We settle what the campaign must achieve, such as enquiries for a launch or footfall for an event, and the date it must be live.

  2. 2

    Check what is ready

We list the channels you already run, who runs them, and what each can produce in the time available. Anything that cannot be done properly is left out.

  3. 3

Write the idea and the message sheet

We draft the one-sentence idea, test it against each planned format, and fix the wording that all channels will copy.

  4. 4

Brief every channel from the same sheet

Your agency, freelancer or in-house person receives the message sheet and calendar. Their work is checked against the sheet before it goes out.

  5. 5

    Run on the shared calendar

Channels go live together. If the offer changes, every channel is changed on the same day from the same sheet.

  6. 6

    Measure as one campaign

Enquiries and orders are read against the baseline. The reporting schedule is agreed in writing with the scope.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a new POS provider start?
Start with one trade, one city, a trade page, a search campaign and a callback routine. When enquiries turn into paid licences there, add the next trade.
Is digital marketing enough without dealers?
For some trades it may be, but shops buy on a dealer's word when a dealer is near. Treat the online work and the dealer network as two halves of one plan.
Do we advertise in every city at once?
No. Concentrate on cities where a dealer can visit and the trade is large, then widen. An ad that brings a demo request to a city with no one to attend wastes the click and the owner's goodwill.
Should the dealer or our own team handle the leads from paid search?
Decide by city. Where a dealer visits and installs, route leads to that dealer with a handover record. Elsewhere keep them with your team. Whichever route you pick, tell the owner on the page who will call.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
