Software testing companies · Search engine optimisation

Write for the search a product head makes when the release has already failed.

SEO for a testing company is the work of making your pages the ones that appear when a team searches for a kind of testing in a particular domain or city. GullySales works on the page structure, the wording of each service and the proof a searcher finds there.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For software testing companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The service list is the same on every site”

Functional, regression, performance, security and automation appear on every testing firm's home page in the same order. A search engine has no reason to prefer one over another. A page about regression testing for banking apps has a reason.

  • “Searches carry a domain or a pain”

Buyers type regression testing for a lending app, load testing before a sale, or mobile app testing on real devices. Each phrase names a situation. A single page per situation matches the words better than one long page covering everything.

  • “City pages should show a real presence”

Testing buyers like a vendor in their own city for calls and on-site workshops. A page for Bengaluru or Pune is worth writing only if you have people or a client base there, and it should say what happens there.

  • “Technical pages need an author who tests”

A page on API testing or a mobile device lab reads as marketing when no tester wrote it. A named test lead explaining a real defect type gives a reader and a search engine something specific to rely on.

What we do

What we deliver for software testing companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A domain and situation map

A list of the domains and release situations you serve, matched to the phrases buyers type for each.

Result: A map that shows which page is meant to answer which search.

  2. Rewritten service pages

Each testing service rewritten around a buyer's event, with scope, tooling and what the report looks like.

Result: Service pages that differ from the competing firm's list in substance.

  3. City pages for real locations

Pages for cities where you have staff or clients, describing what is done on site and what is done remotely.

Result: A page for each city that mentions only what you actually do there.

  4. An article plan from tester experience

Topics drawn from defects your testers meet, such as date handling, rounding or retries, each with a named author.

Result: A plan where every topic comes from work your team has done.

  5. Technical housekeeping

Page titles, headings, internal links and speed checks across the service pages.

Result: A short list of fixes tied to specific pages that you can check.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a product head types after a release goes wrong, and the page that answers it.

software testing company for fintech apps
A domain page naming the checks you run on payments and login flows, and the rules a buyer in that field will ask you about.
mobile app testing on real devices
A page describing your device lab: which devices, which operating system versions, and how a defect is reported with a recording.
load testing before sale day
A page for retail teams on how you plan a load test, what you need from engineering and what the report contains, with no claim of capacity.
test automation framework for a startup
A page honest about maintenance, naming the frameworks you work with and what the client owns at the end.
independent QA review of vendor delivery
A page for buyers who distrust another vendor's handover. Explain what you check, what you will not and how disagreement is handled.
API testing services India
A page for integration-heavy products, with the tools in ordinary use and a sample of how you write test cases.

Who it is for

This is written for these software testing companies.

  • Manual and functional testing teams
  • Test automation and framework specialists
  • Performance and load testing providers
  • Security and penetration testing firms
  • Mobile app and device-lab testing providers
  • API and integration testing specialists
  • Domain-focused QA for banking, insurance and healthcare software
  • Independent QA firms that review another vendor's delivery

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your site lists the same services as every competitor and you have not chosen a domain to lead with.
  • You have no tester who can write an author page, so the pages would carry no voice.
  • You list a city office you do not run, and city pages would claim a presence you lack.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a page for every type of testing?
Not every type needs its own page. Write one where you have real depth and a buyer searches for it by name, and fold the rest into a broader page.
Can SEO bring a first-page ranking?
GullySales cannot promise rankings. It builds pages that match what buyers search for and describes the work done so you can check each change.
Should we publish pages for cities where we have no office?
No. A city page should show a real presence, such as a test lab or a team in that place. A page for a city with none misleads the buyer and wastes the search. Write pages for the domains you serve instead, and name where the testers actually work.
Do we need a page for every type of tool we use?
No. A buyer searches for the problem, such as a failed release or a sale day, not for a tool. Mention the tools on the relevant service page, and write separate pages only for the situations where you have real depth and a buyer would search.
Can a testing firm write pages about security testing?
Yes, if your team does that work and can describe its scope and limits. Security buyers read carefully. State what you check, what you leave to the client's own compliance team, and avoid any claim that testing proves a system is safe.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
