Telecom and broadband providers · Pay per click advertising

Bid on the person who has just moved or lost their line, in places you serve.

Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising for a broadband provider buys the search from a household or office choosing a connection. GullySales limits it to the pincodes you can serve, sends each click to a feasibility check and counts installations, not clicks.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For telecom and broadband providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Ads reach areas with no network”

The budget is spent on clicks from people the company has to turn away.

  • “Brand names of big providers attract the wrong clicks”

Searches for a national brand's complaint number or recharge are not buyers for a local provider.

  • “The click does not lead to a check”

A person lands on a plan page and cannot find out whether the address is served.

What we do

What we deliver for telecom and broadband providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A pincode and locality plan

Campaigns limited to the roads and pincodes you serve, with expansion areas kept separate.

Result: Spend reaches people you can connect.

  2. A negative keyword list

Recharge, bill payment, complaint, customer care and job searches blocked, reviewed against real search terms.

Result: The budget does not pay for existing customers of others.

  3. A landing page with an address check

A page with plans in plain words and a short feasibility form at the top.

Result: The click turns into a recorded enquiry.

  4. Call and WhatsApp tracking

Calls and messages from ads recorded against the enquiry and the result.

Result: You know which clicks became installations.

  5. Business connection campaigns

A separate campaign for offices, with a different page and form.

Result: Business and home buyers see different messages.

  6. A policy and claim check

Copy checked against the platform's rules and the tariff and advertising rules of the regulator.

Result: Campaigns run without rejection or complaint.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

Each type of search needs a decision. Count a real enquiry by a feasible address, not by a click.

Broadband connection near me or in a locality
Bid, limited to serviceable areas. Send the click to the area page with a check for the address. Add the plan names only if they are clear.
Fibre internet for home or apartment
Bid. These searchers want installation. Show the installation terms, the documents needed and a simple call button, and avoid unprovable speed claims.
Business internet, leased line and static IP
Bid in a separate campaign. Ask for company name, number of users and the address on the form. Route the lead to the person who handles offices.
Recharge, bill payment and customer care numbers
Block. These searchers belong to another provider or to you already. Add recharge, bill, complaint, customer care, number and login as negatives.
Jobs, technician courses and franchise
Block, unless you want franchise partners, who need a separate campaign. Add job, vacancy, salary, training and course as negatives.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a form or call from a feasible address with a name and a number. Record the result of the check, the plan chosen and whether the installation took place.

Who it is for

This is written for these telecom and broadband providers.

  • Local fibre broadband providers
  • Cable TV and broadband operators
  • ISP franchise partners and sub-operators
  • Leased line and enterprise connectivity resellers
  • Wi-Fi providers for PGs, hostels and coworking spaces
  • Providers serving apartments and gated communities
  • Providers selling TV and OTT bundles with broadband

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no feasibility check, and every paid click from an unserved road would cost money and a refusal.
  • Your sales line goes unanswered in the hours the ads run, so paid calls would be lost.
  • You cannot tell which enquiries led to an installation, so spend would be judged on clicks that prove nothing.

How it works

How the pay per click advertising work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the whole budget

We fix the total paid budget across platforms, who owns each ad account, and how much is open to moving.

  2. 2

    Audit tracking and accounts

We check that conversions fire once, that calls and WhatsApp chats are counted, and that your enquiry sheet matches what the platforms say.

  3. 3

    Set one definition of success

You and we agree what a qualified enquiry is and what an order is, so every platform is judged the same way.

  4. 4

    Build and launch the plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with shared naming and tags from day one.

  5. 5

Read search terms and lead quality

We review the queries that triggered ads and the enquiries that arrived, and remove waste before moving money.

  6. 6

    Reallocate and report

Budget moves toward what is earning, within agreed limits. Results are reported against the baseline, at the frequency agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we bid on our own brand name?
Yes, if rivals or aggregators appear for it. It protects the top result cheaply. Check the search volume first, and send the click to your own plan or support page, not to the home page.
Are call-only ads good for broadband?
They suit people who want to ask whether their address is served. They only work when someone answers, so run them in the hours the sales team is on the phone, and record each call and its result.
How do we stop job seekers and customers of rivals clicking?
Add job, vacancy, recharge, bill and complaint as negatives, and review the search terms report for new ones. State on the page that you sell new connections in named areas, so the wrong clicker leaves.
How do we know an ad produced an installation?
Match each enquiry to its source with a call tracking number or a tagged form, record the feasibility result, and mark the date of installation. Count installations by campaign, not clicks.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
