Sales training and coaching · Coaching the sales team
Listen to real calls as a team, against the playbook, on a fixed day.
A call review ritual is a short, regular team session where reps listen to real sales calls and compare them with the agreed playbook. It covers how to pick calls, the questions to ask, how to tell customers about recording, and how to stop it turning into a trial.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
A call review ritual is a short, regular team session where reps listen to real sales calls and compare them with the agreed playbook. It covers how to pick calls, the questions to ask, how to tell customers about recording, and how to stop it turning into a trial.
At a Mangaluru education consultancy, the counsellors take forty calls a day from parents. The owner has heard five in a year. Mistakes repeat because nobody else hears them: the counsellor who answers fees before asking the child's marks, the one who never confirms the callback time.
The ritual is a thirty-minute session on a fixed afternoon, with one call played and four questions asked of everyone: what did the rep do that worked, where did the caller go quiet, which line of the playbook applied, what would you say instead. The rep whose call it is speaks last.
The sales manager runs it. Someone from marketing or product joins monthly, because the questions callers ask are the best source for new content. The owner stays out in the first month so reps relax.
It replaces the manager's private feedback after the fact, and it needs the playbook already written. If the playbook is missing, the review has nothing to be measured against, and you are only trading opinions.

If you want this done for you
You have call recordings and nobody has listened to them.
The work
What this is actually like.
“Tell the customer, every time”
Say at the start of the call that it may be recorded for quality. Do not record without telling. Rules on call recording and on storing audio differ by state and change, so ask your own lawyer or adviser to approve the sentence your reps read out.
“Start with the rep's best call”
If the first call played is a failure, the ritual dies. For the first two weeks, play calls the rep chooses as their best, and ask what made them work. Hard calls come later, once trust exists.
“Five o'clock is better than Monday”
Early in the week reps are chasing orders. A short session at five in the evening, when the day's calls are fresh, gets fuller attendance. Daily for the first fortnight, then weekly.
“A call has one lesson”
Reps and managers try to fix everything they heard. Agree on one thing per call, write it on the board and move on. Six notes on one call is a verdict, not a lesson.
What we do
What you end up with.
The documents this topic produces, what each one is for, and how you know it is finished.
The call selection rule
How a call is chosen: the rep's own pick, one random call, one lost enquiry. Written down so nobody feels picked on.
Result: Finished when each rep has had a turn under every rule.
The four questions card
A single card, printed or pinned, with the four questions every session asks in the same order.
Result: Finished when a rep can run the session using only the card.
The recording notice
The sentence read at the start of every call and the place where recordings are stored, with who can listen and when they are deleted.
Result: Finished when your lawyer or adviser has seen it and every rep says it.
The lesson log
Date, rep, call, the one lesson, and any change to the playbook. Kept in a shared sheet.
Result: Finished when at least one playbook line has changed because of a logged lesson.
Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
