Brand messaging framework · Marketing

Agree the one line everyone says, and the proof that sits under it.

Market positioning and messaging decides where you sit and what makes you different. Voice and tone guidelines decide how the company sounds. This page is the document in between: the exact words, and the proof under each claim.

In one paragraph

A brand messaging framework is the short document that fixes how your business is described, from the one-line answer to the proof under each claim. GullySales writes it from your own sales calls and your buyers' words, then cuts it into the website, the sales opener and the reply templates your team already uses.

The test is simple. Ask four people in your company what the business does and count how many answers you get. Most owners get four, and the fourth one is what the buyer heard.

A framework is not a brochure. It is a page or two of exact wording, with the proof sitting under each claim, that the website, the sales opener and the WhatsApp reply are all built from.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • Every person here describes us differently

The owner has one version, the senior salesperson has another, and the receptionist improvises. A buyer who hears two of them decides the company does not know itself.

  • We say quality and experience, like everybody else

Those two words sit on every competitor's website in your category. A claim a rival can copy without lying is not a claim at all.

  • The agency keeps getting the copy wrong

Writers and designers work from what they are handed. With no agreed wording and no proof points, every draft is a guess and every round is a rewrite.

  • We changed the pitch and the website never caught up

A framework that lives inside a presentation changes nothing. It has to be cut into the pages, templates and scripts people use on a Tuesday afternoon.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The one-line answer

What you say when somebody asks what you do, in words a buyer would use, short enough to be repeated correctly by someone who does not work in marketing.

  2. Messages by buyer

A short message for each kind of buyer you sell to, because what convinces a purchase manager is not what convinces the owner who signs the cheque.

  3. Proof under every claim

Each claim carries the thing that makes it believable: a named customer, a process, a guarantee, a photograph, or a number you can stand behind.

  4. Words we use and words we never use

The vocabulary list, including the words your buyers use for your product and the industry terms that lose them.

  5. Objection answers

The four or five things buyers push back on, with the agreed reply, so the answer does not depend on who picked up the phone.

  6. The boilerplate paragraph

One standard description for a proposal, a tender, a profile or a press note, written properly once so nobody rewrites it badly at midnight.

  7. Rollout map

Where each piece goes: the website hero, the Google Business Profile description, the sales opener, the WhatsApp reply templates, the brochure.

  8. Sign-off and a review date

You sign one version, it becomes the standard rather than a suggestion, and a date is set to look at it again.

How the result is measured

  • Pages, profiles and templates carrying the agreed wording
  • Sales calls opening with the agreed line
  • Rounds of rewriting per piece of new copy
  • Enquiries who describe you the way you describe yourself
  • Objections answered the same way by different people

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • Owners who can explain the business brilliantly and whose team cannot
  • Companies whose website, brochure and sales pitch each say something different
  • Businesses that grew into three products and now confuse buyers with all three at once
  • Teams briefing a new agency, designer or writer who keep getting back work that misses
  • A founder handing sales to a team and needing the pitch out of their own head

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • A business with nothing genuinely different to say, where positioning has to be settled first
  • Owners who will not sign off one version, because a framework nobody approved changes nothing
  • Anyone expecting better words to answer a product complaint buyers keep raising

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the brand messaging framework work runs

  1. 1

    Listen before writing

We read your enquiries, sit in on sales calls and ask a few customers why they chose you. Buyers describe a business better than any internal workshop does.

  2. 2

    Collect the proof

Claims are tested against what can actually be shown. Anything with nothing behind it comes out at this stage rather than after it is printed.

  3. 3

    Draft the framework

The one-line answer, the buyer messages, the proof, the vocabulary and the objection replies are written onto one document you can read in ten minutes.

  4. 4

    Argue it out and sign

We go through it with you line by line, change what is wrong, and you sign the version that becomes the standard.

  5. 5

Cut it into the places it is used

The wording goes into the website, the templates, the profiles and the sales scripts, so it stops being a document and becomes how the company actually speaks.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How is this different from positioning?
Positioning is the decision about where you sit and why a buyer should pick you. The framework is the wording that decision produces. If the decision has not been made yet we start there instead, because writing it up early only makes a vague idea look tidy.
How long is the document?
A page or two. Anything longer stops being opened, and a framework nobody opens is the same as no framework. The length follows how many kinds of buyer you genuinely sell to.
Who has to approve it?
You do, personally, if you own the business. A framework signed by a marketing executive and not by the owner gets overruled the first time the owner says it differently on a call. That is the whole reason it needs a signature.
Can we write this ourselves?
Often yes, and some owners should. What usually goes wrong is that it gets written from inside the company, in the words you use among yourselves, rather than from what buyers say on the phone. Record ten sales calls before you start.
How often should it change?
When the business changes, not when you tire of the words. A new product, a new kind of buyer, or a competitor who copies your claim are all reasons to reopen it. Boredom is not.
How is this priced?
There is no published price. The cost follows how many kinds of buyer you sell to and how much listening the work needs before anything is written. It is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before we start.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
