Write down one agreed answer to every question buyers ask about price and fit.

A consistent answer bank is a shared list of agreed answers to what buyers ask about your products, prices and fit. This page covers how to write the answers, keep short local-language versions, audit real conversations against them, and ends with a working answer bank.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

A consistent answer bank is a shared list of agreed answers to what buyers ask about your products, prices and fit. This page covers how to write the answers, keep short local-language versions, audit real conversations against them, and ends with a working answer bank.

A jewellery showroom in Jaipur has three people on the floor, and a customer asks about making charges. The first answers a percentage, the second says it depends on the design, the third says it is already in the price. The customer walks out and tells the next shop all three versions.

An answer bank is the list of questions buyers really ask and the answer the business has agreed to give. Entries explain what the product is, the factors that move the price, and which buyers it suits and which it does not. It is the same on WhatsApp, on the phone and in the showroom, in a length that suits each.

The owner agrees the answers and the sales head tests them on the team. It replaces the answer each person has built from memory. It sits beside the buyer questions bank, which collects what buyers ask; this page fixes what you say back and checks that you really say it.

Where this sits

Topic 13 of 13 in crm, lead flow and sales techniques: inbound business strategy and alignment. Company-level planning that keeps sales, marketing and service aligned.

Selling after the sale

If you want this done for you

New hires learn the job by listening in on other people's calls.

The work

What this is actually like.

  • “The answer includes where the product does not fit”

A bank that only says yes is a brochure. Write when the product is the wrong choice and what you suggest instead. Buyers trust a shop that tells them when not to buy, and your team learns to qualify rather than to push.

  • “Length belongs to the channel”

On WhatsApp an answer is two lines. On the phone it is what a person can say in half a minute. In a quotation it is a paragraph. Write each question once in all three lengths, so the rep chooses rather than improvises.

  • “Local-language versions need a native writer”

Write the short Kannada, Hindi, Tamil or Marathi versions with the person who speaks it in the shop, not with a translation tool. A literal translation sounds like a form letter, and buyers answer in their own words.

  • “Each answer has a date and an owner”

Prices, schemes and delivery terms change. An answer that was right in April is wrong in October. Put a last-checked date on every row and give each product one owner who updates the answer when the price changes.

What we do

What you end up with.

The documents this topic produces, what each one is for, and how you know it is finished.

  1. The product and price list

Every product and service, what is in the price, what changes the price, and what does not. The owner and the person who quotes prices fill it together.

Result: Finished when two staff members quoting the same item reach the same figure.

  2. The answer sheet

Columns: question, agreed answer, short WhatsApp version, where it does not fit, last checked, owner. One row per question buyers ask.

Result: Finished when every question from the last month's enquiries has a row.

  3. The language versions

Extra columns for each language your customers speak, written with the staff member who speaks it daily.

Result: Finished when a customer in each language gets an answer they would repeat to a friend.

  4. The conversation audit

Take a sample of recent WhatsApp chats, call notes and emails. Score each against the bank: matches, wrong figure, promised something not in the bank. Do it on a Saturday with the sales head.

Result: Finished when the audit names the three answers to fix and the two missing from the bank.

  5. The blind test

Ask five staff the same five questions separately and compare. Do not tell them what the bank says.

Result: Finished when all five give the same answer on price and fit for all five questions.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How many questions should the bank hold?
Start with the questions buyers ask in the first conversation. Add a row each time a new question comes up. The bank grows from real chats and stays short enough to be used.
Where do we keep it?
In a shared sheet that every staff member can open on a phone, and pinned in the team's WhatsApp group as a link. A printed copy at the counter helps in a showroom. Keep one master only.
What if staff want to answer in their own words?
Let them, as long as the facts match. The bank fixes figures, terms and fit. The wording on the phone can still be theirs.
How does this affect our price flexibility?
Write what the rep may offer and what needs the owner. If a discount rule is in the bank, the customer hears one story. Discount and offer rules differ by state and trade, so check any claims with your own lawyer.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time and follow-up are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Process, CRM and training changes show as the team uses them. Each one is tracked against the baseline.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
To start, last month's enquiries in any format and time with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
