Auto parts manufacturers · Content marketing

Write the fitment and specification guides a buyer searches before ordering.

Content marketing for an auto parts manufacturer is publishing the fitment guides, specification sheets and fitting notes that buyers search before ordering. GullySales writes them for the part categories that already bring the most enquiries. The first pages answer the questions your sales team takes by phone every week.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For auto parts manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Fitment guides answer the question before the quote request”

A workshop searching which brake pad fits a Bolero or a Splendor should find your own fitment page before a distributor's listing.

  • “Specification sheets build trust with export buyers”

A first export enquiry is more confident after reading a clear tolerance sheet than after a sales call alone.

  • “Installation notes reduce warranty complaints”

A short guide on correct fitting cuts returns caused by installation error rather than a genuine part fault.

What we do

What we deliver for auto parts manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Fitment guides for top part categories

Written guides matching part numbers to vehicle models, published as web pages rather than a static PDF catalogue.

Result: A workshop finds the right part before it ever requests a quote.

  2. Material and tolerance specification sheets

Clear specification pages stating material grade, tolerance and testing method for parts an export buyer evaluates before a first order.

Result: An export buyer can complete due diligence without a call.

  3. Installation notes for common fitting errors

Short guides on correct fitting for parts where wrong installation is often mistaken for a product fault.

Result: Fewer returns are caused by a fitting mistake rather than the part itself.

  4. Certification explainer pages

Plain-language pages explaining what your ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 certification covers, for buyers who ask but never read the certificate.

Result: A buyer understands your compliance without a separate email exchange.

  5. Content plan tied to enquiry volume

A review of which part categories generate enquiries, used to decide which fitment guide or spec sheet to write next.

Result: Writing effort goes to the part categories buyers are actually asking about.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At the end of the term

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

  4. 4

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Who reads this content, dealers or end customers?
Mostly distributors, workshop owners and export buyers checking you before a first order. Vehicle owners rarely read a spec sheet, but their mechanic does. So the writing is aimed at the person who fits the part, not the person who drives the car.
How technical should it be?
As technical as the buyer's own question. A fitment page needs the part number, the vehicle models and years, and the OE cross-reference number. A spec sheet for an export buyer needs material grade, tolerance and the test method, stated plainly.
We already have a PDF catalogue. Is that not enough?
Not for search. Google can index a PDF, but a sixty-page catalogue rarely ranks for one part number, and a buyer cannot land on the right page of it. Turning the top part categories into web pages lets each fitment answer be found on its own.
How soon would we see more enquiries?
Fixing quote turnaround and catalogue structure shows within weeks. Ranking for part number searches and building export enquiries takes months.
Do we need to advertise, or is a marketplace listing enough?
A listing brings enquiries, but a proper catalogue site and a fast reply routine are needed to convert and keep the account.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
