Battery dealers · Search engine optimisation

Match the words a driver types when the car stops with pages that answer them.

SEO for a battery dealer means having pages that answer the searches of people with a failed car, two-wheeler or inverter battery, from the model they drive to the backup they need. GullySales works on those pages, the terms behind them and the way the shop is shown in results.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Battery dealers: show a real physical business scene illustrating Battery stock by brand, model and serial. Hold stock by brand, model, capacity and type, with the serial and manufacture date code recorded when it arrives, so the counter can sell the oldest unit first.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For battery dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searches name the vehicle, not the brand”

A buyer types the car model with the word battery, not a manufacturer's code. A site that lists only brand names has no page for the search that actually brings a sale.

  • “The price question is asked before the call”

Callers want to know the figure after exchange. A page that states a price range by model, with what is included, wins the search that a bare product list loses.

  • “Inverter searches are about hours, not amp-hours”

A household asks how long a battery will run its fans. A page that works from appliances to backup time matches the search; a page of capacity ratings does not.

  • “Seasons change what people look for”

Cold mornings and wet months bring starting trouble, and summer outages bring inverter searches. A site that has no page ready misses the week when the question is loudest.

What we do

What we deliver for battery dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Model-by-model battery pages

One page for each common vehicle in your area, listing the battery sizes that fit, brands stocked and the exchange terms.

Result: A search for a car model leads to a page that names a fitting battery.

  2. Inverter backup guide

A plain page that moves from appliances to the battery needed, with a form to send the shop the household's load.

Result: The guide is the page that brings inverter enquiries.

  3. Search term map

A sheet matching each page to the words buyers use for it, so two pages do not compete for the same search.

Result: Every page has one search it is written for.

  4. Page titles and descriptions

Titles and snippets rewritten around the vehicle, the need and the city, in ordinary words.

Result: Results for your pages read as an answer to the search.

  5. Crawl and speed check

A check that pages open on a phone with a weak signal, load their text first and can be read by search engines.

Result: The model pages open and read cleanly on a mobile connection.

  6. Search report from your own data

Impressions, clicks and calls from the site's search data set against the figures noted at the start.

Result: Growth in searches for each model is visible against the baseline.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is SEO worth it for a single battery shop?
It is when the shop serves a local area and a few model searches bring the calls. The work is a set of useful pages and a good listing, not a campaign that needs a large budget.
Should we list every battery we stock?
List what you sell and can fit, grouped by vehicle. A catalogue of every code is hard to read and ranks poorly. Pages for the models your area drives serve both the reader and the search.
Can we promise rankings to the owner?
No. Nobody can promise a position. What can be checked is whether the pages exist, load properly and match the searches, and whether calls and visits from search are rising against the starting figures.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
