Vehicle inspection services · Automotive

Be the inspection report a buyer, a lender and a seller all trust.

A buyer in the city has found a three-year-old SUV listed by a seller in the next town. The buyer cannot visit twice and does not trust a casual look at the engine. A search for pre-purchase car inspection turns up a service that will send an engineer to the seller's home, and asks for a sample report before paying.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

A vehicle inspection service checks a car, bike or commercial vehicle and issues a written report, for used-car buyers, lenders, insurers, fleets and sellers. Marketing puts a sample of the report in front of buyers. Sales covers the dealer, lender and fleet accounts that send inspections in batches, and the individual who wants a second opinion before paying.

The report is the product, and its credibility is the whole business. A platform, financier or insurer that sends inspections in volume looks for a consistent report, a field team it can rely on and clear photos. A retail buyer wants the same assurance on a single car.

How buyers decide

How vehicle inspection services are chosen.

Individual buyers search before a purchase and judge by a sample report, how clearly the checklist reads and whether the inspector is independent of the seller. Reviews that mention a buyer who walked away from a bad car carry weight.

Lenders, insurers, used-car dealers and fleet owners choose after a pilot. They compare report format, photo quality, area covered, how the report reaches their system and how disputes are settled. Rules for fitness certificates and emission testing differ by state and change, so statutory inspections should be described only in general terms.

The problem

What usually goes wrong for vehicle inspection services.

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “Buyers ask for a discount on the report”

A retail customer sees a third-party inspection as a cost to be bargained down, because the value of a bad car avoided is invisible.

  • “A sample report is our best sales tool and we hide it”

The format sits in a folder and is shared only on request, so new visitors cannot see the quality of what we do.

  • “Corporate accounts take months to open”

Lenders and dealers want a pilot, reference checks and a system link. We lose steam between the first call and the first batch.

  • “Inspector quality shows up in disputes”

One weak report leads to a complaint from a seller or buyer, and it damages the brand beyond that single car.

  • “People confuse us with a mechanic's quick look”

Customers do not know the difference between a full inspection with a written report and a friendly garage opinion.

What we do

What we do for vehicle inspection services.

Everything included for vehicle inspection services.

  1. A public sample report

A real report, with the registration and personal details removed, shown on a page with an explanation of each section and what a buyer should look at.

  2. A buyer's guide to checking a used car

A plain page on the points an owner can check themselves and the points that need a trained inspector, without exaggerating what an inspection can detect.

  3. A trade pilot pack for dealers and lenders

A short pack with the report format, coverage, photo standard, how requests arrive and how disputes are handled, and a pilot batch outline.

  4. City and area pages

Pages for each city or region you cover, noting the types of vehicle and the kinds of buyer you serve.

  5. A review and complaint routine

A way to ask for feedback after a report, and a step-by-step answer for the rare dispute.

How the result is measured

  • Retail bookings by source
  • Sample report views before a booking
  • Pilot batches started with dealers and lenders
  • Repeat accounts after a pilot
  • Reviews and disputes by theme
  • Reports delivered by city

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Worth a page and a campaign of their own

Pre-purchase car inspection · Used two-wheeler inspection · Commercial vehicle inspection · Pre-listing certified reports for sellers · Lender and insurer valuation inspections · Fleet condition and return inspections · On-site and doorstep inspection · Report format and photo records

Priority campaigns

Campaigns for what vehicle inspection services most want to sell.

Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.

  • Before you pay the seller

Search ads and posts aimed at used-car buyers at the moment they have shortlisted a car, with a booking and sample report link.

  • Dealer and platform pilot

An approach to used-car dealers and platforms, offering a pilot batch with a documented review.

  • Lender and insurer outreach

An introduction for credit and operations teams at banks and NBFCs, with a coverage and report pack.

  • Seller's certificate offer

A message to sellers listing a car, suggesting a certified report to attract buyers.

Beyond search

Where we reach buyers of vehicle inspection services, beyond Google.

Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.

  • Used-car dealers and platforms

Dealers and online platforms by city, where the buying head and the quality head are the two people to reach.

  • Banks and NBFCs with vehicle loans

Credit and operations roles that handle used-vehicle finance, who ask for a report format and a reference before a pilot.

  • Insurers and surveyor networks

Claims and underwriting teams and independent surveyors who need a vehicle's condition recorded with photos.

  • Fleet and rental managers

Operators who record a vehicle's condition when it joins the fleet and when it is returned, and who may want a third party to do it.

Who it is for

This is written for these vehicle inspection services.

  • Used-car buyers across cities
  • Used-car dealers and platforms
  • Banks and NBFCs funding used vehicles
  • Insurers and surveyors needing vehicle condition reports
  • Fleet and rental operators checking returns
  • Two-wheeler buyers and dealers
  • Commercial vehicle buyers
  • Sellers who want a certified report before listing

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

How the work runs for vehicle inspection services

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Read your own report first

The checklist, the photo standard and a handful of past orders, to see who orders today and what they ask before booking.

  2. 2

Put the report in the open

The sample, the buyer's guide and the city pages go up first, so the product can be judged before any payment.

  3. 3

    Pilot proposals for the trade

Dealers and lenders receive the pack and a pilot batch outline, and each conversation is logged with its contact role.

  4. 4

    A route for disputes

A feedback request after each report and a written reply path, so a complaint from a seller has somewhere to go.

  5. 5

    Sort the accounts

Accounts that repeated after a pilot and accounts that stalled are listed beside the order history from before the work began.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

GullySales builds every engagement from three pieces of sales work. This page is not one of them, but the same three steps apply to the business behind it.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions vehicle inspection services ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should the report list what the inspector could not check?
Yes. Note the parts that were sealed, unreachable or not road-tested, so a buyer reads the limits beside the findings. It also protects your inspector in a dispute. Pages should never imply that a car will be free of trouble.
Do you write about government fitness or emission tests?
Only in general terms. Rules for statutory tests differ by state and change, so the owner should check with the transport authority or an authorised centre.
How do we sell to lenders and dealers?
Through a pilot batch. We prepare the pack and the approach, and the pilot gives them a real report to judge.
May we show a customer's report as an example?
Only with the registration, names and photos of people removed, and only with the customer's consent. We prefer a sample prepared for the purpose.
Is a doorstep service worth promoting?
For a buyer in another town it can be the main appeal. We present it with the areas you cover and leave visit scheduling to you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and we tell you which applies to you after we have spoken. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
To start, last month's enquiries in any format and time with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM.
